Please state your relationship with Jesus Christ first so that I can know if you are a born again Christian. You will understand if you are! Then, please tell me if you have information about a group called "The Walk".

Thank you in advance.

Believers seem to die more peacefully because they think they are going to a better place.....do they not?

I had reason to visit the cancer ward of a Children's hospital and without being tacky about it, during my chat with these kids I asked 7 of them if they believed in God. I know it's not much to work with but their answers were and I'll be brief;
1. No, he wouldn't let me suffer like this.
2. I hope so because I want to go to heaven.
3. No, he didn't answer my prayers.
4. I think there is but I'm not really sure.
5. I would much rather meet Ronald McDonald (I arranged that).
6. I'm not sure but if there is, I want him to help mummy look after my brother and sister if I die.
7. I don't care to talk about such things.
OK, so little faith out of the mouths of babes, is this a sign of the times or are they too young to comprehend this type of thing (average age around 11).
For what it's worth, I think that if there is a kind and loving God, after seeing these kids, he sure has a "funny" way of showing it.
Your thoughts please!

My friend belives that everything that happens is meant to happen - that everything happens for a reason - things are pre-ordained.

Do you think our fate mapped out for us and we are following a plan rather than chosing/creating our own destiny?

I have no additional details, I'm just tired of having faith and living my life as a good person and praying and going to church but yet my life keeps getting worse. And people who are "church goers" and then cheat on their spouses, lie to get high paying jobs, and abuse those around them physically and emotionally have everything go right for them, everything just falls perfectly on their laps.

Wood was fairly rare and would have to be imported from other nations. Stone was in abundance though, so wouldn't it be more likely that he was a mason instead?

Isn't it about time they wrote the bible in our present lexicon? Maybe then they could get some more people to believe in their religion. Especially those with trouble understanding what the heck Shakespeare was talking about. Or could it be to make themselves sound more impressive and important?
