I've heard the similiar question "Atheists, what will convince you that God exists?". I was just wondering what, if anything, would convince you that God does not exist.

There is no need to use biblical quotes or try to convince me that God is real. I am neither saying God exists nor God does not exist. I'm just curious if anything would make a Christian doubt the idea of God.

Examples of answers:
* "If the creation of the universe was undoubtly discovered not to have been created by God."
* "There is nothing that would ever make me doubt God."

From time to time I ask questions to see if these young-earth creationists (a curious American phenomenom) have any new defences for their ridiculous idea that the universe is only 6000 years old, their answers are always amusing, but for blatant scientific ignorance I have to go with this 'answer' regarding the earth's age, it is truly astonishing:

Your 4.5 billion year myth can not be tested. It is speculation so far. No artifact can be dated past about 5,000 years with unquestionable results.
Its all speculation.

This person obviously has never read a single article in any scientific journal in his entire life, it's both sad and frightening that these people want to hijack the public school system and inject this poison into the minds of America's youth, where would our hopes for a brighter tomorrow be then?

I was watching a special on youtube that was done by TBN documenting newfound "evidence" that the Exodus story was real and that scientists have been looking in the wrong places. The conclusion was mentioning that there were many reliable documents from Ancient Egypt that proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Hebrew slaves were in captivity and responsible for the nation's overall success. I was not aware that these even existed as it was supposed to be the other way around. Everything that I have heard and read prior to this says that Egypt was a flourishing nation and had no need for Hebrew slaves, nor any records of them. Who is telling the truth here? And if the religious scholars are lying, what would they possibly gain from that when it is common knowledge that they are being deceitful? Would these same people be able to provide these alleged documents if asked to show them as evidence or would it go back to the whole "faith" thing?

Is it true that you and your children study the bible on a daily basis? i know of a young JW who says that she has free time scheduled in every few weeks where she gets to play and stuff - does that mean after school she would come home and study the bible, eat dinner and then go to bed?

As for my knowledge and the histories point of view Christ has nothing to do with Christmas.

What I believe is some "X" has messed up his own ideas with Christ's Birth day which was not mentioned in the bible and Christ has ever insisted any one to celeberate this event, where as there are many things insisted and compelled in the Bible for the Believers to do to enter in the Kingdom of God, But average Christians dont bother them at all as much as they bother this Christmas.

Do you want to worship this "X" who is messing up with Christ's devine duty?

The Bishop of Southwark, Dr Tom Butler was witnessed to be totally drunk having set off the alarm when he got in the back of a Mercedes parked outside a club. There he started throwing out the cuddly toys belonging to the car owner’s children. When challenged he got out and fell to the ground. On returning home he reported he had been mugged! Yet his case was found in the back of the Mercedes. He claims he has no memory of the events!

There were many witnesses to this event and it would appear beyond doubt that he was thoroughly drunk yet will not admit it! What sort of example does this set for anyone?

Timothy 3: 2-3: “A bishop must be above reproach . . . not a drunkard.”

It is said that he has always taken a “zero-tolerance” approach to drunkenness by the clergy and has been utterly ruthless with priests who have been drunk. At least one priest was forced to resign.”
Should he not offer repentance and other senior church figures stop trying to cover for him?

to the teachers about a new counselling program for our primary school kids. She wore normal clothes, swore, (dropping the F*** word regularly) promoted free sex and drinking as to get drunk. Like I said before is this a new thing in the RRC or was she just a rebel? I feel worried for the kids.

Multiply a trillion times a trillion. OK? An eternity has not yet begun at that point.

So, if God sends someone to hell, simply because he or she was Buddhist or Islamic or an atheist and not a Christian. ... If "He" sends someone to hell who lived a good life but didn't believe in or maybe hadn't even heard of Jesus. ... If he allows murderers and theives and rapists to go to hell simply because they "accepted Jesus," but he sends other people who lived good lives to hell, forever, to be eaten by worms and burned alive - doesn't that make him a far, far worse creature than Hitler?

After all, Hitler was a wicked, wicked man, but even he didn't torture people *forever.*

Or did it? I always thought that a Christian was someone who believed in Jesus Christ. But nowadays in some people's usage the word only means members of certain denominations (evangelicals, apparently) and doesn't include other believers in Christ like Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc. When did this happen?

I'm not trying to make a comment; this is an honest question.
