well, it's obvious that the postee intended to bash the Catholic Church by omitting complete information, so that the blame would be targeted on the Catholic Church. there's really an ill-will intended, it's so obvious.

born again "christians" dedicate their time slandering the Catholic Church actually.

Why do people omit things.?

For personal gain perhaps, or just because they can't be bothered saying them. Who knows that answer lies with them.

But I know that sometime ago a whole chapter of the bible was omitted.

I also know from personal experience of a paragraph being omitted from the bible too.

Catholics have bigger problems than terms for bishops...so do anglicans. Why do Catholice omit entire books of their version of the Bible?

They need to get their eyes off each other, mary and the pagan gods they call "saints" and start looking to Jesus, father and spirit. I'm not saying this out of anger, but love. They are not saved! They need heaven, not nit-picking!

Religion is based very strongly on omissions. If you decided to just sit down, read the entire bible and declare that every word within it was true, you'd go insane. Specifically, the brain cannot usually handle opposing ideas simultaneously yet utterly believe both of them.

This mindset just extends itself to the rest of life.

with the limited number of characters you get to use on questions, sometimes you have to omit things in order to get your question to fit--or maybe he just didn't think to include it--we all make oversights, or maybe he didn't even know himself, as it sounds like he was quoting an article he'd found
