Because they know that they will get the greatest cross section of answer here. They will get answers from people with strong beliefs about their own beliefs. That's what I think, what about you? I think that some people here are goading the religious into acting in a manner unbecoming of a religious person. But I don't see anyone holding back either on the answers.

i hate all of my enemies. i believe in free love and have sex with whoever i want on whatever day i want.i eat as much as i want and have my pride keep me from becoming fat by exercising. i want more money everyday and i am really greedy. i would like to have many things other people has for my own. i hate almost everyone in the world and think they should suffer. and on my day off i'll sleep all day if i feel like it.

objection about there not being a Menorah up. Our weather man on channel 8 news just stated he did not understand because a Christmas tree was a pagan symbol. I know God has a work for me to do. First of all I have been healed through the power of God. I didn't use to understand my mother's mental illness. She had been diagnosed as being manic depressive. That was 20 years ago. Four years ago, I came under so much attack. The enemy tried to take me out. But God kept me...The enemy tried to come in like a flood and destroy my mind. I couldn't believe what my mother had been going through. People in my family used to say that was how she wanted to be...that was her personality. I don't tell everyone, because everyone does not believe that demons exist. That stuff tried to come in my home four years ago. And I was already saved, and belong to a faith filled church. And I love the Lord, so I believe firmly that "NO WEAPON THAT IS FORMED SHALL PROSPER." I stood my ground, and continue to stand my ground. But sometimes I wonder how can so many people think that people want to be bound?

The bible categorically refers to fools who say there is no God. Now English speaking people have to be careful. The word God when spelt in reverse is 'd o g'. And another coincidence is Evil when spelt backwards is 'live'. Devil is spelt as 'l i v e d'. This is some codes for study. Unless you think God is dog, which He cannot then those who are non-believers could then be the ones. So it goes if we live without meaning because our existence is just happened we can easily become evil. The reason is why should we be kind and civil. This is a man-eat-man world, the fittest survived. We are lucky to be living at all. So comes devil, if the life how we lived is led astray and without directions or full of lies. So Morons and Fools could easily be led astray and live without meaning. Why, their existence is the survival of the fittest. They need to live as strong as the lions, tigers, elephants or gorilas etc. But remembers maggots the weakest will in the end consumed all the rest.

I have absolutely nothing against Jews, but this one Rabbi in Seattle has moved the sentaments about Jews back about a hundred years. Do you agree? If the Christmas tree offends him so much maybe he shoud go to Iran or someplace like that and he wont have that problem.

I heard a Christmas song recently and it was calling Herod a blood-thirsty monster (basically). He wanted to kill the 1st-born males when Jesus was born. I don't understand how Herod is a monster for doing the exact same thing that God did in Egypt. Why is it acceptable for God to slaughter every 1st-born male and not Herod?

And before anyone protests, yes it was GOD that did it in Egypt:
Ex 12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

Religions or lack there of? You say there is a God, I say there isn't. Whos right? The religous person assures you they are. The other person thinks your just plain crazy.

Maybe this other person belives in monsters, vampires, other mystical creatures. There is no concrete evidence for those creatures nor God. Yet the other person would be a nut job right?

Or on the other side, why are people so quick to say there is no God? If you belive there is not God, the you must belive we are just here right? Or we are here because of the big bang theory and evolution etc. If you accept those theories, then you accept it was thought up by man. Isn't that the same as thinking bible was writen by man there for it isn't true?

I think the fighting over who is right is wasted energy that could be used else where. I also think religion is a wonderful thing. But it does just as much harm as good to society.
