Elvis is dead. Period. But God is alive. For as long as the world turns, hangs in space without any poles or cords, for as long as the seasons change. and the grass and the flowers grow, and there is birth and death all over the world, God lives.
We are all just passengers on planet Earth and God is the captain of this ship. No one can hijack it from Him or turn its course around. No one can turn back time or defy the law of gravity.
You have a purpose why you were born. Don't you ever think what makes your gray matter or brain works? Why can you think or make decisions and make some of your body parts work when you direct it. But how come you cannot control your own heartbeat? Your heart is your ISP to God. Your every action is recorded and known to Him through this organ inside your body that you know it's there, but you can't see.

That is really interesting. Lol, first of all it would say that people do not know dead from alive. They would interpret dead or alive not as a physical attribute but rather as a value of how much someone affects their lives. Elvis still affects peoples lives the same as when he was alive, you just cant see him live. However, God is not very eminent, you cannot go out and get a book with God's thoughts or buy his records... thank you I like this quote.

I believe the "God is dead" concept really meant that God the Father was dead and Jesus the Son was very much alive. One of my professors went to Yale Theological Seminary with the man who wrote that book. As for as Elvis' being alive, we all have spells of wishful thinking and hoping. Elvis sightings are like Big Foot. All these people think they have seen "the King", but . . . have they really . . . ? Not on your life. There are many good imitators out there, but like God, there is only one original. Unlike God, Elvis is really dead.

America is now a POST Christian society.
As an atheist, how does one prove that there is no God without scouring the whole universe? Logically, it is IMPOSSIBLE to prove a universal negative.
To prove that God exist, well, look around. Without getting into the theological aspects of Intelligent Design, what caused this reality to come into existence? Even Darwin asked this question!

Wait! Elvis is alive? When did this happen?

Not bad, good thing I believe the exact opposite.

Long Live the King!

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 2 Timothy 4:3

Haha.... wow. That's really sad.

All you can really deduce from that though, is that Society is dead wrong on both fronts.
