I have absolutely nothing against Jews, but this one Rabbi in Seattle has moved the sentaments about Jews back about a hundred years. Do you agree? If the Christmas tree offends him so much maybe he shoud go to Iran or someplace like that and he wont have that problem.

Have any of you folks heard of the ACLU?

Another question you have to ask is "Why was the airport unable or unwilling to display a menorah in addition to the Christmas trees, as the Rabbi originally asked?"

The Rabbi had nothing to do with the trees being remove.

The Rabbi asked the airport to add a menorah display, which he was prepared to pay for. He never asked or wanted the trees removed.

If you want to get mad at someone, try the airport that decided it would rather remove the trees than allow the Jews to participate in the festive season--but then, you probably feel the same way the airport does.

And the ACLU had absolutely nothing to do with the case at all.

I'm a Christian but in all fairness instead of taking the tree down they should have put up a menorah. I don't see what the big deal was about putting up 8 candles, he just wants his holiday to be recognized & I agree with him that it should be.

He did not want the tree taken down. The Christians took it down so they wouldn't have to put up a menorah. How petty. The Christians should know better. Place blame where blame lies.

At this moment in time, Christmas is the only religious national holiday. In my opinion, Christmas trees, the baby Jesus etc... should be the only allowed items displayed in public places.
