Presuming we all will go to a better place, there should be no religion, because religion divides us.

Religion is a contrivance of the human mind, perhaps evolved with us in order to give us a crutch for our vast intellectual capabilities.

There is no religion in Heaven. I think it saddens God that we have separated ourselves here on earth and now choose to be defined as a religion rather than God's children. His plan of salvation is very clear. Jesus is the way, the truth, & the life. No man gets to the Father except through Him. By means of His blood sacrifice on the cross. That is the only "religion" to accept. No title to it. Just a simple yes or no answer to the ultimate gift offered.

Well.... You can't necessarily start with that assumption.
John 14:6 says: ..."I am the way, and the truth, and the life. NO ONE comes to the Father except through me."
When we die, we do NOT all go to heaven. There will be many who have not accepted God's gift of acceptance into heaven, and will be left out.

To quote Tom Waits...

"We're all gonna be in the same place
When we die
Your spirit don't leave knowing
Your face or your name
And the wind through your bones
Is all that remains
And we're all gonna be
We're all gonna be
Just dirt in the ground"

Maybe there's something to that...If it's energy that animates this mound of flesh, than that energy when it separates from our body, is it going to still recognize YOU as YOU, or ME as ME?

I suspect that flying through the hearts of stars, and travelling the cosmos would do a lot to cause your spirit to forget about ever being grounded on this rock.

wow that is a big question. If heaven is real I guess you can do what ever you like.
Maybe if were wrong with your choice of religion here on earth god would tell you the right one to go with when you get to heaven.

Don't confuse god to what man created which is religion. all praise a god but the God of heaven is no religion. God is equally to all so there is no way of choosing or changing once you get to heaven.

I think the operative word here is religion. I'm Born Again Christian... not a religious person.

I believe on and accept Jeus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior... I don't claim or practice any particular "religion" but rather study His Word, His Wisdom, and live by faith.

Mark 7 of the New Testament records Christ as saying...

"... 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.' You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men." (NIV Translation)

This tells me that MAN created traditions (e. g., Religion) not God. So to answer your question I would say... it's all up to GOD.

I don't think we will need religion in Heaven. We will be in the very presence of God and Jesus. We will be able to gaze upon his face with our own eyes. I don't think we will need anything else.

After you die, you will still have the same spirit that you do now. It'll be your choice about what you believe, just like it is here.

In death you will find truth. Religion will automatically not be a concern. What will be a concern is what kind of person you were and if you lived by your spirit and not by the flesh.
