I know God has a work for me to do. First of all I have been healed through the power of God. I didn't use to understand my mother's mental illness. She had been diagnosed as being manic depressive. That was 20 years ago. Four years ago, I came under so much attack. The enemy tried to take me out. But God kept me...The enemy tried to come in like a flood and destroy my mind. I couldn't believe what my mother had been going through. People in my family used to say that was how she wanted to be...that was her personality. I don't tell everyone, because everyone does not believe that demons exist. That stuff tried to come in my home four years ago. And I was already saved, and belong to a faith filled church. And I love the Lord, so I believe firmly that "NO WEAPON THAT IS FORMED SHALL PROSPER." I stood my ground, and continue to stand my ground. But sometimes I wonder how can so many people think that people want to be bound?

I know that God can still heal my mother, even though it looks bad. Please speak encouragement!

I think that a lot you are not really Christian founded, or you would understand my question. My mother has been on just about every medication there is. Too many people add their own details into the questions instead reading the informatin presented. Don't be so judgmental without all the facts.

AMEN ! AMEN ! You are so richly blessed that you can see and observe this reality.
The church doesn't believe anything. Thats why the so called christians in our society deny what you are saying.
The devil is constantly on his seek and destroy mission. The mind is one of the great places that he uses to destroy people.
Keep the faith and remain strong in your belief. YOU ARE RIGHT ON !! AMEN and AMEN !! Email me if you would like. I have some further information I would like to share with you on the subject. The world is already roaring mad that I agreed with you. That's OK. Their problem is unbelief in the power of the Living God, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Glory to God.... That is awesome.. I too am a faith filled, Bible toting, scripture quoting, tongue talking, holy ghost filled woman of God. The devil has so many christians eyes blinded about spiritual warfare, it is sad. but Praise the Lord we have the victory our Older Brother went to the Cross and came out the Winner. We have have already won. There is a song by the group Passion that goes like this:

Were gonna shout loud loud until the walls come down
shout loud, loud until the walls come down
cause we've already won and you don't have a chance yeah we've already won and you don't have a chance.
we have already won.....
Thats part of it any how...
I congratulate you for standing strong that your mother is going to be healed. My mother to fights depression, once she realizes that it is an attack from the enemy then she too can be healed.
Before I was saved I was on many different drugs prescribed and illegal, I am a recovering drug addict, but the Lord delivered me and set me free from that bondage. he healed me of manic depression, bi-polar, and anxiety attacks, i was on 8 anti physcotic drugs a day, many of them 3 times a day, and one day the Lord told me I was healed, and i have not taken a single pill since then, and I have not had any episodes from that day either. Praise the Lord HE is so good, He is the one and ONLY worthy to be Praised. He is no repector of persons what He will do for one he will do for all, so i stand with you and I trust and believe that the Lord is healing your mother as we speak. That she will be delivered from the hand of the enemy and that she will be free to dance, free to run, free to sing, free to praise the Lord. God Bless you and Merry Christmas

I HAD a mother who was also very depressed.Something as small as a little pill, would have fixed her.But she came from a church background that told her it was wrong. She also needed hormone replacement therapy.
My poor mother suffered for years.I know that My God is bigger then any thing, that he can save, heal, deliver. But where are the people of Great faith when you need them?
Some people have problems like heart trouble, diabetes's,and so on.It is not a sin to get help from a doctor. The greater sin is not getting help.
Please understand I really believe in healing, but as I have told many.If you are powerless to change the person, back off.<><

There is a story that goes something like this.

A man is lying by the side of the road dying from hunger and prays "God, help me! I don't want to die."

A car stops and the driver says "You look bad! Can I take you to the hospital?" But the man says "No, no, God will help me."

A bus stops and the people lean out and say "You look famished. Do you want to ride with us to the restaurant and we'll feed you?" but the man says "No, no, God will save me."

A van stops and a woman says "I'm a nurse and you look like you need help. Can I help you?" but the man says "No, no, God will save me."

After several more offers are rejected, the man dies. In heaven he says "God, I believed in you and trusted you. Why didn't you help me?

God replied "I sent help in many forms. If you are arrogant enough to only want help that comes in a certain way, that is your choice and you suffered the consequences."

Don't be like that man who presumed to tell God HOW to help him.

Your mother may be affected by demons, but the chemicals in her brain may play a part or be totally responsible.

Take her to a doctor, and don't tell God what to do.

I believe He will heal your mother too. He helped me a few years ago when I had the darkest winter of my life, All I was capable of was praying. I lost a lot of weight...I was really anxious ...and really really scared and depressed. But praise God..he brought me out of it and they didnt win....I will say a prayer for you and your mom.

Mental illness is an illness just like anything else. I thank God for the knowledge that he has given to man to ease our suffering.

Jesus Christ understood man to be of elements: emotions, will and mind. If mind is not developed there a need for you to be tolerant of their shortcomings. You know, religiousity is a preposterous matter.
