As for my knowledge and the histories point of view Christ has nothing to do with Christmas.

What I believe is some "X" has messed up his own ideas with Christ's Birth day which was not mentioned in the bible and Christ has ever insisted any one to celeberate this event, where as there are many things insisted and compelled in the Bible for the Believers to do to enter in the Kingdom of God, But average Christians dont bother them at all as much as they bother this Christmas.

Do you want to worship this "X" who is messing up with Christ's devine duty?

"<:ANT:>" if it is "Christ-Mass" how many Christs are worshiped in this event?

Can you give me one Bible Reference where the followers or desciples cleberated this event in the N.T?

My dear, you have understood the point. I don't celebrate this thing they call "x" mess or "x" mas or "x"mass, but I celebrate Jesus Christ every day of my life. It is man invented and it does not exist in the Bible.
God bless you.

You are right. Most of the Christmas traditions come from the Roman holiday called Saturnalia (spelling?) where they got drunk. gave gifts to each other and had wild parties. This took place on or about the winter solstice Dec 21 and ran through the new year. Jesus was born sometime in the fall, near the time of the Feast of First Fruits.

We celebrate His birthday because be believe and feel that is something worth celebrating.much like the people that celebrate getting a promotion or kids and their family celebrating graduation.the way we celebrate our on birthdays...when we are little we don't even know it's our birthday..our family's teach us that it's a day to celebrate..we are not making anyone celebrate us..people just do ..because they love them. The same with Christ..He is not making us ...but we love Him so much it makes you joyful and truely His birth IS a reason to celebrate.

And while i'm here...how about all the folks that hate all things Christmas.....go ahead a find yourself a job that's open 24 hours on christmas eve and day and work there because if you don't want our government even acknowledge Christmas.9as if it's hurting anyone..what a waste of a fight)...and stand up for what you believe by giving up your government recognized holiday and work.
Merry Christmas!
