No. Rubbish. The laws of nature prescribe how the physical world behaves, but (intelligent) humans try to control what they do, and - as much as possible - what happens to them. You are mixing one with the other.

Albert Einstein was a Determinist and I agree with him. I believe we navigate, but we don't control the waves.
Everything is determined, the beginning as well as the end, by forces over which we have no control. It is determined for the insect as well as the star. Human beings, vegetables, or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible piper.
– Albert Einstein
Schopenhauer's words: “Man can do what he wants, but he cannot will what he wills ”
God does not play dice.
Albert Einstein
If you guys haven't discovered that man is mechanical in nature, and really is conditioned to react by stimulus, that all of man are conditioned to set patterns by which they perform task and are enticed by their past and their actions are so controlled and predictable. I beg you to observe life and ourself a bit more. Things were mapped out on one paradox, we are merely moving through but at the same time there is a part of ourselves by which we can seize opportunities, but that takes consciousness/awareness. We navigate, we don't control the waves or ocean, it has it's own laws in relation to wind. And much like a football player, we receive the pass but don't throw it or control where it will fall.

John, I'm just wondering if you mean predestined, rather than preordained. I checked out the Bible reference in Ephesians 1 (a previous answer) and would like to refer you to Romans 8: 28 to 30, where the apostle Paul preached the gospel message about God's plan of salvation to mankind. This is what he said:
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, ......... And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified."
As a Christian, I understand this to mean that God knew I would become a Christian. I do not take it to mean that I am not responsible for my actions otherwise people could claim that anything they do is not of their own doing. We get to choose because God has not made us puppets. If we come to him, we come freely. If we reject him, it is our own choice. There is, however, a divine plan, be assured.

I believe we have limited choice. We will never leave the Universe whichever form we take, dead or alive. As with the choices we make, they are limited. All possibilities before us, lead us to death. We could try to avoid the final ending, but there's nowhere to run to. We can't escape the Universe and it's big plan, and we are dragged helplessly toward it like it's a black hole. So enjoy your limited freedom - as much as men and infinite repetition allows you.

Friend, Please don't misunderstand me whn I explain this to you, Yes there is a Predestination, that is in Ephesians 1:1-15, But please God gives everything a choice, God does not make us a robot, He give us all free will, But God seeing what free will we will take, Then God is able to Predination. So don't Think God put us here without our free will. It was my free will to answer your question, I did not see God twisting My arm to do this, We are Pedestinated by God's foreknowledge, & but we are also not a Robot & can not do anything without our freewill. Use you mind with wisdom, & not what people says.

No I think this is totally incorrect, if things were already mapped out for us then we would be no more than pawns in a vast game without free will or choice.
this belief has been used by many to excuse their wrong doings and is not logical.

No. I believe God has plans for each person's life but whether or not we cooperate with Him is up to us. We make our own choices and have to deal with the consequences, but God is willing and able to help and guide us.

Well it's like this their is a perfect will of God for us,a permissive will and not God's will for us.
If that helps.I'd say the perfect will of God is preordained.
