If so, what is it? Is it actually evidence THAT God is real, or is the reason "because it feels good"? If one wanted to call the Bible a reason, one would have to call any other holy book, including Harry Potter, reasons to believe their own particular magical stuff.

You're right. No evidence, just brainwashing.

All you have to do is pretend to believe!

Are hell threats a reason to believe God is real?

yeah, but not good ones.

The entire universe and everything in it is the evidence that God is real. Seriously, what are the chances that all this happened randomly?

My conversion to Christianity came because I read the Bible and realized that the prophesies that were written about Jesus prior to His birth were accurate 100 per cent. To me, that was the beginning of a search To me that was proof - no single human could simply guess at what would come about in the future with that degree of accuracy - the mathematics alone would be staggering.

Once I decided that Christianity was something I really had to look into, I started asking the same question you are asking - God are you real? He answered me. He showed me in the sunsets, and the sunrises, the mountains and the streams, life itself, the empty tomb. Yes there is proof, you have to be open to receive it though.

This is somewhat true. In a nutshell it's all behaving sincerely for eternal happiness. However you heard of the guardian angel? We all have one, and some guy gave it a new name - the Ego, and it controls all of our morals. This so - called "ego" is what I call the gaurdian angel. I use it to see if I am right or wrong. It helps me work out problems and I trust it. This is not BS, it is when phsycology and religion clash. The ego is real and what I said it does is real.

You believe because it can be used to explain everything. I got cancer well it happens for a reason. He raped me. God is teaching me a lesson. Is there any real logical reason to believe? NO. Is there any proof? No. Is the bible or the koran the word of GOD? NO. If they are God is evil.

The reason is not the Bible that will guide you to the reason. The reason is revelation that comes from God.Those that have value in his truth will seek him and those that seek him will find the truth. Faith is a gift from God it is not simply believing in something you can't see if that were true the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause would all be plausible.

There are always going to be reasons for someone to believe in Gods, or any other Supernatural beings.

These reason vary from person to person.

Yes there is. God is real because he made you. There is no one on this earth who can re-create life. Life comes from God and everything living is of God. Look around you.

My answer always is...look at the complexity of the human eye and tell me a higher power doesn't exist. I believe in evolution, but I also believe there has to be a higher power that made sure that those amino acids came together, the one celled creatures developed properly...sorry I can't believe that ONLY chance developed the incredible array of creatures on this world, not to mention all the other worlds which we have yet to discover (if we ever do).

Get ready for hell threats.

If hell threats are enough to make you believe something, you are rather weak in your logic and reasoning, and a poor seeker of truth.
