Lately in dire need of a good long meditation...anyone have any music that you would recommend as soothing for such?

in the bible there are talking animals, are there any still around today?

where can i get one? preferably not too big & not a snake as they are fiddly to keep, or a donkey as its too big.

According to the bible God created the stars,the sun (which is really a star) and seasons,he created night and day in order for God to observe this he had 2 be on on the earth to experience night or simply shadow time and seasons. Because the sun always shining and if the earth was void and without form/shape "What was he standing on? "Was he just floating? or "Was he under the water? PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU ANSWER.

While it is not strictly Biblical, it is a very good depiction of the time leading to the birth of Jesus and the way people lived then. It is over done in places and under done in others... But well worth going to see if you are seeking to understand what The Faith of The True Christian Faith is all about... It is not all that is needed to understand... but it is a good place to start if you honestly seek to know about The Truth of The Christian Faith. try to go see it on a week night when there are fewer people there...

He asks questions that I am uncertain of. Like if God really loves him then how come we have no money and cannot take care of ourselves. And why is there suffering. What can I say to him? And how can I help him?

how can there be evil?
saying that evil is the absence of God doesn't explain anything since God is supposed to be so transcendant that there is no lack of God, He is everywhere. so we come to the conclusion that God is either not omnipresent or atleast partly evil.

Okay i know I've asked u guys questions in the past and i apologize if i have offended anybody. I just wanted to ask one last question, do people believe that there could not possibly be a god because of all the sickness and killings going on in the world or is it that because science proves that there is no god because how would he have got here?

If heaven is this perfect place you go to and you get to do anything you want, and people like to do bad things like smoke and drink and gamble and try strange sexual positions, is heaven full of people doing all these bad things? Is there no difference between heaven and hell? Or is it all just made-up, because it really makes no sense to me...

I have just gone through one of the most difficult years of my life, and I'm curious to hear people's responses. In the past year I have found myself with over $50,000 in credit card debt due to bad choices, I have not been able to get a job in a town I just moved to for over 6 months, I'm having to continue to borrow just to keep myself and my fiancee alive, and I feel as if I have lost my way.

Until last year my life has seemed to just work out, yet for the first time I feel I have lost all faith that things will be okay, and I am feeling very lost and hopeless. I have a fiancee who loves me, parents who are doing their best to help take care of me, yet I feel almost no motivation to continue living.

So my question is: what would motivate someone like me to continue to live in spite of all of this? Why are most human beings willing to endure incredible hardship, and yet they don't give up? I'm only half looking for an answer, this is more of a prayer for help.

I know, but just imagine she (no offence ladies, a female just makes this all that much more “hot” for me) does exist for just a minute. I know you can do it because atheists are open minded enough to imagine anything, except perhaps a world with no hypothetical situations, but I digress…

Anyhow, this Satan wanted to compete with god and be god, so why wouldn’t she just make up a hell that was fun with lots of drinking and porno and orgies and any other type of fun you might want. I mean you don’t have to go to the gay orgies but I’m not going to try to stop them. Wouldn't that be a better way of getting back at this god maniac?

Anyhow I don’t think the bad guy was very well thought out in this story, your thoughts?

I was wondering if other races could accept a God that may be black, native, chineese or any other race for that matter if infact He or She (which is another question all together) is really God. You know, the way that others have learned to accept a white God.

who was jesus really? lets say for instance, Mary had been impregnated by the angel that visited her. that would mean that jesus is a nephilim (an abomination to god). Mary would have covered this up with another story to protect her son, as the pharisees and saducees would have hunted him down and killed him if they heard about it. Jesus is claimed to be a "son of god"

The bible said Jews were the choosen ones.. Thus meaning the other race is less important to his eyes ?

There is a prophetic statement told by prophet Muhammed taht tells about one of his companions asked him if he could marry a woman who was beautiful and decent but she was not able to have children. Prophet Muhammed prohibited that man from marrying that woman and told him that Muslim men should ONLY marry fertile decent women.

I was surprised when I read that statement because of the following:

1- I thought that selecting a woman to marry has nothing to do with the religion.

2- If all men selected only women who can have children, is not that discrimination against women who can not have children? Are not they have rights to get married?

3- How about men who can not have children? why prophet Muhammed did not prohibit women from marrying them? (note that women usually are more eager to ahev children and therefore they would be more hurt if they marry men who can not have chidlren)
