The Creator makes the rules, because it's his world. i don't need to define what is good, the Bible already took care of that for me, all i need to do is read it, and do what it says. God is good.

I don't really define what good is. I define things that happen and bring about the intended outcome with the least possible unwanted outcomes as being ok. The way that brings about only intended outcomes and no unwanted outcomes would be the way.

If whatever you do is not tainted by any personal consideration, benefits or ideas -for yourselves, or any one else - then what you do is good. If the doctor causes pain in giving an injection he is not doing a bad thing. (assuming that he has no personal considerations or benefits).
But is different with politicians and some other professions.

I fail to see a distinction between our definition of good, and defining what good is.

In any case, doing good IMO, is performing some action with the intent and result of a beneficial outcome to yourself and others.

It's hard to define exactly, but you know it when you see it. It comes from biology and survival of species and genes. Empathy. At its core, good is something you just know in your heart. It doesn't come from any bronze age book, that's for sure.

you define good by your personality. by your beliefs. by your enviroment. by your heredity. if you feel something is good, then you think it is good. or maybe you realize that good is just a word, a complex grunt that symbolizes an idea that does not exist in nature. and then you don't define good. because good isn't anything because it is based on morals and morals aren't anything.
