Sho-nuff, He did ... but he spoke them directly to his disciples (not to the masses) and he spoke in riddles. Few have been able to translate the true message he delivered.

Jesus had a job to do and He did it. He said He would send the comforter and He did. His job was to come to the Jews and teach them, rebuke them, and make a legitemate offer which they refused. It was not until after they refused that another way was created. b4 that the way was passover and all that. For the processes given to the Gentiles u must read what Jesus gave to Paul to give to us.
note none of the verses given above are in red letters

He said he is the way. And he said "Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." In this day and time, church people prefer the words of Paul or James or Timothy or Joe or Mr. Halleluya or just about anybody over the words of Jesus, cause the real words of Jesus go way over their heads.
Moreover, go to any Baptist church and will hear very few if any direct quotes from Jesus. Jesus said things that are against their doctrine.

John 14:
1"Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
6Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

John 3:
16"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
17"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
18"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19"This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
20"For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21"But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God."

John 14:
16"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;
17that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

26"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things...

( This is the Trinity...the three ways the living God manifests Himself to man, to redeem and restore us to fellowship... an ongoing, day by day relationship.. one on one with Him.. with no religious or man made doctrine or dogma. Come to the Light!)
