*This is not meant as an attack to the church!*

Out of my own personal curiosity: What is the correlation between the two? Why is this so prevalent? Has there been an increase in sexual abuse? Decrease? Does anyone know the psychological cause behind this? Is it related to celibacy? Any personal insight is welcome, but please do not use this as a venue to attack the church or show any disrespect to the victims.

Hell was created for Satan and his angels, not human beings.

This is what happens: If you don't do what God says to do by accepting Christ and becoming sinless through Him by the time of judgment, then you are "cast into outer darkness". In other words, God disowns you for two reasons:

1)You have sin and God's glory destroys anything with sin attached to it.

2) Heaven (Paradise) is a utopia for believers, and no sin is allowed there.

After you are disowned, you become the pawn of Satan. He is the one who takes you to hell.

I thought this needed more explanation.

Be blessed, all.

Dane Cook, in "vicious circle", spends a good 20 minutes ripping on atheism. Christians regularly eat beef, even though that's deeply offensive to Hindus, but have no guilt in doing so.

But, if you do anything to offend the delicate sensibilities of Christians or Muslims, the best you can hope for is "that's not funny" and many of them don't even see the joke.

As Richard Dawkins said, "tread lightly, for you tread on my meme."

Why the double standard?

A couple days ago I actually took time to pray about one of those questions that scientist and others want to know;I prayed about the black holes in space, and after I went to bed, that night I had a dream I was looking at (not in the dream but looking at it in a third person perspective)at people runing to and fro (back and forth) and behind them, chasing them I guess was some dinosuars;rators to be specific. You know reletively short compared to other dinosaurs;and have short arms. The raptors appeared to be mainly brown with some tint of green in the body and red in the mouth. Well,a white man with brown hair, purple shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes came into my view along with one of the raptors right in front of the man.The rator taller than the man, bit down over the man's head and shoulders and picked him up in his mouth, then the raptor with the man in his mouth went to my right out of my view. And then I woke up.

Is their meaning behind the dream? Or is it nonsense?

Galatians 1:6-10 NIV
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!
Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

There are laws against sexism in the West and civilized countries. I'm sure if I had a good enough lawyer I could take Islam/Mosques to court on grounds of sexism and discrimination
This should not be tolerated in a non 3 world country like the West

80 % of mosques are doing this to females in the west>>>
Today in non-Muslim countries a mosque must definitely accommodate women equally. This is the West....... However many mosques in these countries are small and converted properties...And females only get to pray in the dark and dirty damp basement ,or the very back of the room behind the ugly stink men where you cannot hear a thing.....and even worse mosques/males took it another step now it is a movable curtain or panel women have to sit behind...the only way men/males would allow women to use the mosque).
I good case for discrimination ........someone has to do something....i guess it will be me.....wish me luck

That there are only two options in life.

Option 1#. You choose "God" & Jesus & you get to go to "heaven".

Option 2#. You don't choose "God" & Jesus & you get to go to "hell"

They all know I'm an atheist.

And we get along. They do good work in the community, are nice people, and I keep them on their toes about tolerance. We really respect each other.

They have stopped trying to convert me years ago....lol

Anyone have a similar experience?

My research of the bible and history has led to the theory that adam was the name given to a mythical man said to be the first man on earth....(when in actuality he was loosly based on a someone who happened to be different that the men of that time) and humans having the need to believe in something greater than themselves created adam as the begining of something better as a way to distinquish them selves or to create that superior feeling....hey it worked for hitler for a while. So Tell me...what do you think?

The Bible *doesn't* say it's wrong. So why did they always try to make us feel guilty?

Heck, I was told it was wrong to find women attractive- what a guilt trip to hang on a kid [just cos he has natural desires]

Evolving is a sin. God made you with love and created you to be completely unique - different in a way that no one else is. To attempt to change that is to go against God's desire for you to be the best that you can be for His sake. Only someone who hates God, desires His creation to be changed so that there is no longer any reference to Him or His intentions.
