Evolving is a sin. God made you with love and created you to be completely unique - different in a way that no one else is. To attempt to change that is to go against God's desire for you to be the best that you can be for His sake. Only someone who hates God, desires His creation to be changed so that there is no longer any reference to Him or His intentions.

Since "sin" is entirely a religious concept, doing something which god "forbids," I have never sinned. Since there is no evidence of any kind that magical fairy-tale gods exist, then they can never have forbidden *anything,* and so there is no sin.

"To attempt to change that is to go against god's desire..." And just how do YOU know what "god's" desire is? Apparently what "god's" desire is changes depending on what time period you live in, what religion you belong to, which sect within particular religions you belong to...it's never been consistent. And since there's no evidence of any god anyway, there is no desire.

Perhaps you'd like to join us in the 21st century, and start using your mind for *thinking* instead of spouting dogma? Most of us left superstitions about magical sky-gods and fear of dying behind us long ago -- you should join us. :)

Oh, and if "evolving is a sin" -- then you're just as screwed as anybody else, since you yourself are the product of evolution :)

Check out Genesis Remember the apple Our beloved Adam and Eve made a choice which resulted in consequences for us all----that is sin. He (God) IS Love since we are of Christ and Christ died For our sins We through His blood can be forgivenand washed clean of our sin. That's change we should be proud of. I don't know about you but I have a lifetime of change and fine tuning to live up to Jesus

Its proselytizing like that that sets people off in so many directions where religion is concerned. It is all well and good and fair for you to think that, but I hope you didn't mean to change anyone's thoughts on the matter through a little question on this site.

I am not sure what type of evolving you are speaking of. Evolving and changing into God's image is what the Bible is about. We are carnal (flesh) oriented and God wants us to change, to become more like him. This takes time, effort, prayer by us, prayer by others, etc. Through this change we find what it means to love, find peace, and we get to know God on a personal level.

Change is good.

Best of luck

Interesting concept... but I would have to greatly disagree... Science and evolution is not discounting the existence of God but simply allowing individuals the right to explore their surroundings and see what life really means to them. I'd have to say that faith in itself is something of a strong characteristic but did not God tell you to turn the other cheek and not hate. Leave the harsh rhetoric at home and if you wish to convince people of you beliefs use honey not vinegar....

I don't believe that- we all evolve in small simple ways. Now if you are talking about evolution taught as the creation of the world and people, well I believe that is false- we were wonderfully and fearfully made.

Evolution is inevitable. Change is inevitable. The Universe will unfold as it should-with or without your God.
