Yes.
God is very much a gentleman. If you choose to not want him/heaven he won't make you go.
Hell is a place where God isn't.

Yes. But for crying out loud!! There is so much more to it than that. Read what is written to understand the message.
You have to know that it is not simply a matter of going to hell or heaven. It is a choice of life, or death in the here and now. Our bodies do not hold a spirit... it is our spirits that hold the bodies! The spirit never dies. If it could I'm sure God would have done away with Lucifer a long time ago.
It is not only Christians that believe this. Look at Judaism, Islam and other people of different faiths. They too know that one day you will be in God's eternal presence or not. If you are there it is because God knows you. If God does not know you then there is only one other place to be for an eternal spirit.
The only way God is going to know you is if you strike up a relationship with Him now. Just understand that when you do start a worshipful relationship with God it is on His terms; not yours.
Search for the whole truth, not a simple statement. If you honestly go searching for the truth, really look for the mistress wisdom you will find it! Trust God He will lead you to it! No one else can.

I am a Christian, and i believe that Jesus was sent from God the father to teach us about LOVE that's it. When we choose LOVE which is Jesus were are in heaven. Heaven starts here and now. You know what HELL is it is a place of hate. So figure if a person says he is atheist and is a good loving person i believe he/she is already starting the process of heaven on earth. God is not like us. God is everything that is good and Jesus came to show us unconditional love.......I love Jesus because he is the only person God who died so that if we believe in him (LOVE) we would have eternal life...I love Jesus and everything he stands for LOVE, JUSTICE and EQUALITY

That is what the Bible says in a nutshell. But, I not judge anyone. I really hate hearing someone say a person is going to hell also. It not my call, that between God and whoever. Many Christians say a person is going to hell, but, they not realize they were too at one time. But, I can not tell you or anyone else what you should do, it a decision everyone have to make in their heart.
Just one more thing; I read the Bible and Study it, for years I have tried to find some insight that maybe God have a plan to save everyone. Whoooo! The Christians going to jump on me. But, I do this search in love, because I care about people, I just wish that answer was there, if it is, I can not find it. Sorry. :-( But, I have not stopped looking either. :-D

Yes, Christians believe in both options. If you are living by God's Word will go to heaven, and if you are not living by God's Word and obey with commands there is a good chance you will go to hell.

Well, no, not all Christians. Calvinists believe that we are so tainted with sin that we cannot make a choice for God, only against him. Therefore everyone stands condemned and is headed for hell, save for His loving grace. And option #1 then becomes God choosing his own, #2 is automatic since by our very nature we don't choose God anyway.

There's only one option in life, according to what God says in the Bible. We are all sinners, deserving of God's wrath, but those who have the humility to believe that the Son of God paid for their personal sin by dying on the cross will be forgiven and be with Christ forever.
By suggesting 'choice' comes into it, you skew the whole issue of heaven and hell. Every last one of us would chose to earn salvation/a good position. That is what's wrong with our sinful human natures. We are riddled with pride and want to be able to do something to make God think well of us (or, if we're atheist, we want to do everything we can to prove human nature is just fine as it is.)
The miracle of God's grace is that HE CHOOSES US! That has to come first before we desire to choose God! Until God breaks through our sinful natures we can never repent and turn around towards him and away from our sin. Until that happens, the sinner is hell-bound - it's not an option - it's a horrendous fact. But God, in love, intervenes to save those who trust in Christ, not themselves.

Anyone can believe in Jesus, even demon believe in Jesus. But being a Christian is not just about believe in Jesus. But also obey Him, live a holy live, and put out trust in Him.
Not anyone that claimed to be a Christian are 'real' Christian. Just like there's no such things as atheist, since everyone have their own god. (money, career, yourself, idols, etc)

ummm not exactly. I believe you have faith in God and Jesus, faith that Christ is the only true way to God. With that you are born again with Christ, it is the only way to the Father. But......you cannot say you accept and have faith and think you will skate on through, you still have to be Christ like and live how God expects for you to live. Because even the demons recognize God and they shudder. But good works alone will not save you you must still accept Christ as your Savior, good works through Christ come after.

The atheist believes that we will all end up decaying in the ground or cremated into ashes. And that is the end of that.
We Christians believe that our soul/spirit will either spend eternity with God or it will be forever removed from his sight.
What makes this so difficult to understand? It’s not as though we don’t have a choice in what we believe or in the outcome.

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate them as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left. Then the King will say to those on the right, `Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, `Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his demons!
And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life."
-Jesus in Matthew 25
