Not at all. Moses is just one of many players. Also not sure if I would call Judaism a big religion (we are 1/10th of 1% of the population). Joshua played a huge part as did countless other people. (David, Samuel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Solomon, Hosea etc...)

Moses cannot lie. He is not that intelligent to invent a lie. But there was a man who have read all that was written in the Old Testament and claimed he came to fulfill the Laws of Moses, The prophesies in the Book of Psalms and the Prophesies about him in the Book of the Prophets. He claimed that not a single letter nor the least stroke of a pen shall be deleted or changed. Claimed he is the Son of God and Lord of the Sabbath and that was a lie. His dead body was snatched out of his tomb to complete the deceptions and the world is the vcitim of the biggest and greatest lie.

well, if you believe that there ever was a moses, then you also believe that moses didn't pull one over on everybody. either moses never existed, or he did exist. if he did exist and he did write the torah, i think even back then people would have found it a bit suspicious that he was telling them all that they all saw G-d with their own eyes and they would have obviously known he was lying if he actually had been lying, since a million people tend to be able to reach a pretty solid consensus regarding if they saw G-d or not rather than listening to a single person convincing them that they did.

He could not have lied, since all the OT prophets and Christ Himself corroborated what Moses spoke, which was from God.

all religions are false. that said, if you look through out history, you find examples of men gaining power by playing upon peoples fears and superstitions. so it is completely within the realm of possibilities that moses ( if real ) lied in order to maintain control over the isrealites.

It's all about what you believe. What is Newton was wrong? Would we still believe in calculus?
