im catholic, and i believed the very firts start was bcuz of God.

we evolve all the time, so that would be evolution, but there's always a beggining and i believe who started everything, (the universe, rocks, first man etc.) was God. we are meant to evolve.

Depends - doesn't it. Questions such as - what if God doesn't exist is blatantly stupid and will not be answered by me at least. Questions that may affect anyone in real life may be answered depending upon how they relate. If you asked me what I would do hypothetically if someone broke into my home at night and I was confronted with such a/ person/s, I can tell you right now that in the world we live in - I would use maximum force and feed the carcass to my dogs. Of course, I would first boil the meat. Happy?!

No- it would not shatter Christianity. Christianity is following Jesus.
But, you are mistaken if you think we do not know that evolution exists- it does. However, we do not evolve from other species.
Which when you say it aloud- really sounds stupid. " Oh yea I evolved from monkeys- but nothing else has come out of the jungle-
Where are the other evolved species from us???

IT hasn't been but... let pretend. It would definately cause me to question my belief. I don' t know that I become a theistic evolutionist. The idea just seem to be opposed to each other. Well if the foundation isn't sound??? I truly think I would have a whole lot to consider.

Just look around you. Evolution is proven without a doubt reasonable or otherwise. And they still insist it isn't real. You hypothetical question is the real world. Evolution is an observed fact. Say no to jesus

The only thing that matters to me as a Christian is what i believe about Jesus - the Way, the Truth and the Life and the ONLY way to God the father.

If it was proven without reasonable doubt. there would be no more hope for anybody because it would mean we just all came from rocks. I don't think any beliefs of any religion should still exist. It can't be proven though, even with doubt because you cant prove something that didn't hapen.

This has to be "hypothetical" because it will never be proven. I would say no, I wouldn't lose my faith. Evolution is pushed in our minds from kindergarten on up. I have to rely on my faith. I will never stop believing in God and you can call me an idiot all you want. Faith is how you get to heaven.

Yes it would, it would make God a liar and nothing He said could be trustworthy. There are other situations that woud prove the same thing. For example if Israel could be destroyed, that too wuld prove God a liar. If another world wide flood occured and destroyed all people God would be a liar. If global warming actually took place and destroyed mankind. If world peace actually took place.

If evolution was true then we wouldn't have christianity because Jesus would just be a monkey.
