The Christian tries to convince the atheists and Muslims that Jesus is the only way to God.

The Muslims will stake their lives that Mohammad is the only true and final voice for this generation .

Christians place their faith entirely on God and the Bible.
Muslims do the same with Allah and the Quran.

Neither side will budge one bit.

I have yet to see one athiest say: "Right. I'm convinced by the Christians or Muslims. "

Instead, what do you see ?

Several thumbs down.

Will there be a case of a Christian saying : " Wow. That's convincing. I'll renounce my Christian faith and put on a Muslim scarf tomorrow. I'll eat halal fod from this day..."

What do you see here ?
More thumbs down and more accusations that Mohammed is a liar and false prophet and other derogatory remarks.

Will the evolutionist be ever convinced by the creationist ?
No !

The other way around ? Never!

The minds of almost everyone are made up.

Shall we ask other types of qns ?

There's a lot of Christian-bashing that goes on around here, and I'm wanting to know what you think of Christians and their belief system. What do you think the rest of the world thinks about them in general? What are they doing right or wrong to gain this kind of reputation? Do you have any ideas or suggestions for the Christian world that would make them more...uh...tolerable? Because I'm not really feelin' the love from most of the respondants I've seen around Y! Fellowship is essentially love."Love one another as I have loved you."

It is not arguing about doctrine. It is ok not to know. It is not ok not to love.

I was looking for the unforgivable sin, and finally I found the answer in that parable about the King who forgave two debtors. One debtor went out and also forgave his debtors, but the other debtor, took his debtor by the throat and demanded full payment. When the King heard about it, he threw that unforgiving debtor into prison.

Thought I'd share. It was bothering me. I guess we can never hold a grudge....Man, are we in doodoo...

How does one go about befriending dragons? From the only book I've read on establishing friendships with these powerful astral entities, you have to be confident and patient. But it doesn't really speak about how to make initial contact. Anyone know how? P.S., Christians, your wasting your breath. Don't tell me to give my heart to Jesus, blah blah blah, better than you have already tried.

Okay this question is a religous question. Anyone who is Christain, is supossed to be nice right? Well than how come so many judge aethiests, and other religions,? God didn't do that did he? And aetheists are only thinking logically right? I mean, is there really an almighty one who can create an entire civilization in seven days? And if he knows the future, how come he couldn't see Adam and Eve eating from the tree that causes us to sin? I don't believe human s evolved from apes, and I don't know really, but I mean, other than the bible, is there actuall proof God exists? And how, just how do you know that someone didn't make the bible up? There is only one religion that is true...And if you follow the wrong one...What happens?

It seems like a no no at the ones I have been to. I mean I know that drinking is often thought to be involved or gambling, but why can't you play them at a holiday church party? I feel like drinking and gambling or whatever the reason, could be done with any game or recreation. Is there a logical explanation for that? What is the big deal?

I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and I spend most of my summers living in Las Vegas. The enivornment I grew up in are very urbanized with tall builidings and lots of foriegners from all over the world living with me.

I thought about moving to the South because the people are more virtuous and may help me grow as a better Christian. Lots of people from the cities are very superficial, even the church folks are all about looking good and having connections to get what they want regardless of right and wrong sometimes.

Finally, I am not a White, Black, or Hispanic man. I am an Asian man that is very patrioitic so I assume that I have this in common with lots of folks in the South. I also love blonde and brunette women that loves God and not very much into my own Asian heritage.

So Southerners! Will I have a wonderful time living in the Southern States for virtuous people and hospitality or will I have a miserable time because I am NOT from the South and not White?

14Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.[a]

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[b] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

4000 yrs ago (im guesstimating here) civilised people believed in the Greek gods or the Egyption doggies and pussys. Now people believe in Abe's God, Noah's ark, and some people even think that the Earth is only 4000 yrs old cause that's wat their holy book sais. Now thats indoctrination...so amusing, hah, ha! ANyway bk to my point in another 4000 yrs do you think our successors in life will believe in different, novel religions? Maybe the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster will be the dominating religion, announcing holy wars, throwing their spaghetti hoops with their noodly appendages at their agressors, say...the house of the Pizza monster

I am not Atheist, just to clear that up, I am Agnostic, but I also get tossed into this stereotype. Why is it that most people think that just because someone is Atheist, they have no morals? Just because you don't believe in God does not mean that you can't be a good person and spread goodwill. Am I wrong?

I asked this once before, and was told that beheading was a "quick, nearly painless death." I have to disagree. I watched the Nick Berg beheading video today, and those were not screams of pleasure.

So I ask...Is beheading strictly a terror tactic, or does it hold religious significance?

Do you think that the decline in American moral values is the result of the drift away from Christian values or is the result of more subtle issues such as the single parent home, the disintegration of the extended family, the two parent home in which both parents work long hours and the presentation of less than perfect examples of morality on TV and other media outlets.
