14Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.[a]

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[b] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

No I don’t.

You quoted “14Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.”

Correct. To receive eternal life you have to believe that Jesus was the serpent. It was also him in the garden of eden when he liberated Eve & Adam by opening their eyes so they could recognise they were prisoners of a grudger god. Later christ returned and once again made the blind see and told them “Did god really say you can’t eat this and that? It all comes out the butt hole as crap so eat what you want and follow me.”

Scripture is a bunch of words that people wrote down some 2000 years ago. If you can glean anything from it, that's good for you, but you really shouldn't assume posting on Yahoo Questions quoting the bible is going to get you popular by anyone other than Christians. It just says you're bigoted if you do.

There is no greater love than for a man to lay down his life for a friend. That is how I know God (Jesus) loves me.

God Bless

That's very infromative. YES, I know GOD loves me because he wakes me and my kids up evryday. He provides us with food to eat. He allows us to be in good health. So again ask me do i know if GOD loves me? I say yes. I get to see my family and friends everyday. Yes I am very blessed. I get to wake up and thank him for another day, and for his grace and mercy.

I once asked JESUS how much he loved me, and HE opened his arms and said this much and then HE died on the cross.

Jesus is the truth, the way and the life!

I really love what St. Augustine said, "God loves each of us as if there were only one of us to love."
