Interesting comment, which implies if you didnt see it for yourself youre not going to believe it.
Which would make me want to question what do you believe in?
Is it far easier to believe in an observation classification of animals and a belief that the universe was created so many millions of years ago?
That present man has evolved from a one cell organism.
Traditions are the previous generations way of educating future generations. And since there are actual tombs still celebrated to this day of which have had majr Biblical significance, well its easy to see how some of the stories of the Bible and the traditions passed down from the time, are in fact valid.
So to question that which you cannot see with your own eyes, is hypocritical for the simple fact that you havent laid eyes on plenty of stuff you do believe in.
but its okay right, cause you dont have to learn from previous generations, youll just make it up as you go along.

Jesus predicted His own death and ressurection. I'd say that is a fairly convincing sign! However, He also realized that even if the people saw a sign, they would still turn away from the truth.
Matthew 12:38-40
----------------------------------------------------
38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.”
39 But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

you know i hear this a lot and it just doesn't make sense to me. Faith is faith...you don't believe because you see something. You believe because you believe. Even if you see something you can still easily rationalize it or just choose to not accept it. The bible is a book of faith. You can't take certain parts and reject the rest. You either believe it or you don't.
Give me one logical reason why I should choose to become an agnostic other than one revolving around pessemism
