one filled with the holy ghost, full of people who study, and constantly pray with a smile on their lips. A church full of doctrinal differences, but not divided and all backed by scripture. A church without most of the major pagan influences, and those remaining are the new members from the world that are being brought up in the word with multiple view points. a church who's constantly moving with the spirit of God, where speaking and interpreting tongues comes from even the children. A church where people dance sing and play their own instruments. A church where the whole church delivers the sermon in spontaneous exclamations of the spirit. A church where the people come out shining with the shekina of God, and the discussion on the sermon lasts for hours after. Where healing occur every day (the kind science would say is impossible)
That is my ideal church, and i will do my best to make my current church that way.

My ideal church would be outside since no building could contain the Divine. The makings of a good church thinks more of the community than the hierarchy.

I have found my church, Wicca

Blessed Be )O(

...My idea of an ideal church:
,,,Probably a small congregation (< 200) and one that is committed to the authority of God's Word, honors Jesus Christ as Lord, and is led by the Holy Spirit.
...All worship together on a weekly basis.
...A praying church.
...Bible studies encouraged in the neighborhoods where the Christians live.
...Where God-appointed male elders (how could a woman be the husband of one wife?) who aspire to be leaders are in charge and watching over the flock; they have charge over a small flock, and teach them. Also a male pastor-teacher.
...A church that equips people for ministry - evangelism, biblical counseling, and instruction for new believers in how to grow as a Christian.
...A church that is very committed to foreign missions and missionaries, and assisting the poor and the elderly in the church and reaches out to them in the community.
...A church that reaches out to the community with programs like AWANA for the kids.
...A church that encourages every believer to discover his spiritual gifts and abilities, and uses them to serve in the congregation.
...A church that is committed to strengthening families, so that they can be all that God wants them to be.
...A church that focuses on evangelism and making disciples and disciple-makers, so that there will be many spiritual generations of believers.

A church were God shows up. That's the only way to silence the skeptics.

One that says that the only thing it knows for sure, is that it knows nothing at all. I want to be part of a church that encourages critical thinking not one that encourages being critical. A doctrine of salvation by knowledge.

A kind of gnosticism but with heart.

One where people are allowed to be them selves, and worship as they see fit. To me being outside with nature is the best church you can attend. It is just you and all of Gods creation one on one. Most people do not realize this or do not take the time to hear the whisper in the wind storm (wind storm representing the kayos that is in the world). Each man to his/her own beliefs is my belief, no one is right and no one is wrong, all roads lead to unification.
