I read this in my history book and it kind of offended me(I have some issues with Brinkley now). It said that Mormons believe that the reason that the Native Americans are dark skinned is because they strayed from the ways of God and were punished for it. Is that true? Because I find that just a bit offensive. Isn't that basically saying that the darker skinned of the human race sinned and strayed. If it doens't, please clarify. I just really want to know.

It f*cking annoys the living **** out of me. Really.
I'm not a Christian anymore, but I've still read the Bible and I respect Jesus as a historical figure at the very least, though maybe not as the messiah. Some people think that you have to either be a ******* anti-religon atheist asshole, or a goodie-goodie religous buffalo chip.

is it because they're hypocrites, or because they're lying to themselves about what 'good' people they are?

Wiccans, Wiccans, tell me true.
Do you HATE MY GUTS because I disrespected you?
If you do, you're just as bad as people like me.
Except you're a slave to your own dishonesty
I always defend what I believe
But I'm honest add I won't deceive
With a sugar coated point of view
You don't like me? Well, I don't like YOU.

Supposed you are someone you have everything including immortality and free will except that you have zero knowledge.

My question is: do you have any use of free will when it is actually prompted by choices on knowledge which you have none? Are there any factor that may let you exercise free will?

I have asked the same question 3 times in different categories--ok so maybe that is worth reporting--don't know... but anyway, why are sooooooooo many people giving me these rude answers? I am not that perfect or Godly, but I just wanted some ideas for a freakin new years game at a church. I have been put on that committee. If you don't have any ideas that are real, please do not answer. If you do have any legit ideas, then thank you and please let me know.

The idea of atonement for original required the suffering and death of Jesus. If God wanted to forgive our sins, why not just forgive them?.

We hear the opinions of the faithful. People from countries without freedom, who were never even allowed to hear the other side of any issue. People who were, in the most literal way, brainwashed from birth.

How could anyone think, that the arguments from a person without freedom is worth even listening to? Seriously...I mean this presupposes that simply being human qualifies a person to respect or a voice. Wrong! Humans are merely evolved life forms. They are not programmed to be reasonable, they are largely a product of their environment.

If some freak dictator wanted to create a country of clowns, given full power, he could easily do so. You could visit this country and see everyone wearing clown clothes and thinking nothing of it.

Its funny listening to Jihadists...they think their opinion matters. An opinion can only matter when there is some possiblity that it could be objective. Otherwise, I can pick-up the script at the clerics house myself...mere sheep...nothing more!
