We hear the opinions of the faithful. People from countries without freedom, who were never even allowed to hear the other side of any issue. People who were, in the most literal way, brainwashed from birth.

How could anyone think, that the arguments from a person without freedom is worth even listening to? Seriously...I mean this presupposes that simply being human qualifies a person to respect or a voice. Wrong! Humans are merely evolved life forms. They are not programmed to be reasonable, they are largely a product of their environment.

If some freak dictator wanted to create a country of clowns, given full power, he could easily do so. You could visit this country and see everyone wearing clown clothes and thinking nothing of it.

Its funny listening to Jihadists...they think their opinion matters. An opinion can only matter when there is some possiblity that it could be objective. Otherwise, I can pick-up the script at the clerics house myself...mere sheep...nothing more!

Ever since I saw a few of the videos of jihadists chopping off peoples heads I started taking them seriously. When they say they want to attack and kill us, they mean it.

I wish it were so. But unfortunately, even the opinions of the brainwashed matter when it comes to world politics. Any time a brainwashed jihadist can convince others to join him in killing innocents, his opinion "matters," even if it is not convincing to the majority of the people on Earth.

If only rational, objective thoughts influence world events, imagine how much better a world this would be! Unfortunately, there are plenty of brainwashed, irrational people even in democracies.

To jsfrk30: Evolution is a theory, not proven? Talk about brainwashed... It's a SCIENTIFIC THEORY, and so are gravity and heliocentrism. Get a clue.

To Simon: Oh, please. World domination? That's the same crap the Jihadists spew about Christians to get people to kill innocent Americans, too. Yes, there are a few nutcases on both sides of the great divide who want to see their God dominate the entire planet. There are Jihadists who talk about World (or at least Pan-Islamic) domination, and there are Christians who fund Israel in hopes that Jesus will descend from the clouds and take over the Earth. But the vast majority of Muslims, and Christians, and atheists, just want to live in peace. I'm not sure we can include you in that category, however.

It is worthless.

But, mere sheep? They're anything but sheep.

Problem is that Islam has an Agenda for World Domination. And, its tenet that you don't need to think, because Moahammad and the Shahi Bukhari have done all the thinking for you is, to say the least, totally opressive. Add the brain washing of praying in that barbaric fashion 5 time a day and it's little wonder that most of them are bordering on insane!. Scary, but true.

When the Western, educated Muslim tells us all that crap about Islam being the "Religion of Peace" and there's no compulsion and apostacy [leaving Islam] is not inviting death and so on, they are merely trying to decieve us.

Koran Sura 8.12 "... instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. Smite them above their necks and smite the fingertips off them." Sura 5:33 Resisting Islam is punished by death, crucifixion or the cutting off of the hands and feet.

I don't see any scope for "free will" and "no compulsion" here, do you? And, what's worse, it's a one way ticket!

Koran Sura 9:12 A Muslim apostate must be killed.

Freak dictator misusing the powers of Islam? Rage, Dictator of Somalia, has just proven it, recently, by making beheading the punishment to anyone who isn't found not attending the 5 time prayers, in accordance with Islamic Shari'a Law!?

Sometimes, I wonder if a pre-emptive strike is not warranted. Seems to me that it's better for us to accept permissable collateral damage and remove the cancer that's spreading, permanently.

It is leading inexorably to that, anyway.

Merry Christmas!!!!

You'd better watch it mate that was 4 paragraphs of total sense you'll get banned or at the very least a few irate moronic responses(this one only being moronic). I agree with your sentiments only wanting to add that most fundamentalists in all religions are equally worthless of the oxygen they breathe.sadly many of them grew up in democracies and had the choice to be free in thought but chose their own mental slavery. Equally sad is the fact that even a sheep, when wrapped in enough explosive is a very dangerous animal.

Your opinion is not proper.Jihad is not only in a war for maintain-
ing islamic religion.Da'wah or giving lecture of islamic teaching is included in the meaning of jihad.Seeking permitted subsistence of a husband for raising his family is included in jihad too.Islamic teaching gives freedom to all of its followers because there is no force in islamic religion.God gives us a free choice whether we will become as a christian,a muslim,a jewish,an atheist or an infidel.Allah only gives us a life guidance for the right path in our life if we are wanting a happy life in this earth and in the life after death. Each of us will be responsible for our own doings. So juhad is worth in our eberyday of life.Allah has given us warnings and happy news for all of humans in this earthIt is up to each of us whether will obey it or not.Someone who does not obey it means that his/her heart, eyes and ears are covered.

Are their jihadists in the US?

I know that your freedoms are somewhat restricted in that country but I really think that you were being a bit harsh. Although if the resonses you tend to get on this site from fundamentalist christians, perhaps you are correct.

Well how about the fact that many people research other religions then convert? Now is that brain-washing too? Does one really need to be an Atheist like you to be objective?
