would you think that if god really wanted everyone to believe in one religion that he would come down right now so every person would believe? it really would not make any sense for him to have ONE story 2000 years ago that sounds impossible within itself and sit back and expect every person to believe it.

One beautiful morning a athiest was walking through the forest, admiring natures surroundings... He looked up and saw the trees swaying in the wind high above him and smiled... He saw the river glisten in the sun twinkle like a new born star and it made him warm inside... He thought to himself that mother nature had made a true and wonderful world... The athiest had walked a little further down the track he had taken when suddenly a bear jumped out of the bushes only a few yards ahead of him and started growling, looking hungry and ran quickly towards him... Seeing the big bear bounding towards him he screamed in horror and started running as fast as he could away from the bear... Knowing that the bear would catch up to him and he had no chance, the athiest soon ran out of breath and in a few paces fell to the ground...
As the bears shadow fell upon his face and his paws come down upon his chest, the athiest screamed "oh help me god" Suddenly the trees that he so much admired stopped

1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

double hockey sticks.
Like that parable of dividing the sheep from the goats and putting the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Did all these people then (represented by goats), commit the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? How did they do it? By not helping their fellow man? How is this blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? (I've always understood that goats are the analogy used when describing a stubborn attitude)

It's time for Atheists to come out of the closet. There are realistically about 30 million of us in the US - that's more than there are Jews in the world - and yet Atheists remain more timid than any other minority. Why is it that Atheists are the only US minority NOT represented in Congress, when we are demonstrably the most intelligent, most well-educated, and highest-earning?
"New Atheism" asserts that not only is religion wrong, it's evil. It corrodes the mind and prevents progress, both culturally and scientifically. All the violent conflicts in the world today are between zealots insisting their god is better than anyone else's god. That includes our War on Terror, which essentially pits our crazed religious fundamentalist president against equally insane Muslim fanatics.
I believe it is time to get off the fence. We're right, they're wrong, and their silly superstitions are holding back the entire human race. So how come we're the ones afraid to make any noise?

Okay, I'm a Protestant Christian...I believe in God...and I've been to Bible Study different times in my past. But this one question..I can't get a very clear, or true answer to. Can anyone shed some light on this? What I believe is that Mary Magdalene and Jesus' mother Mary found that he had risen from the tomb. Then He walked to the desciples and approached Thomas....then ascended into Heaven....I understood in Devine, Spiritual form.....maybe you can help me.

Apparently my words did not get thru in the last set of questioning.

God made “ALL” he is the source of ALL that is evil and ALL that is good, God is the source of ALL things.
We were never perfect, perfect beings would not question God’s word or can you be perfect and still doubt God’s word? This is a paradox of Christian religion. To say that we were created perfect but would still doubt the creator would suggest that you would not have to listen to God to be perfect.

Explain this and sorry for not wording my thoughts better earlier =)

and no man can look upon the face of God without dying, how come people could look upon Jesus’ face without dying.
Now if Jesus was mortal then that would mean he is not as divine as God then.

The family beliefs are Muslim, the parents are seperated, but the father learned that when the mother moved into a house, that the children started to get hit and beat up.

In a Safeway store...the boy actually was lifted off the ground and was thrown to the ground. When the father learned what was going on...he went to the house, he said he saw great fear in his ex wife. He got a recording of someone saying verses from the Koran, and he played it in his sons room, that night...the spirit attacked his little girl and the mother in a different bedroom (where the recording was not playing) She had blood all over her. So, he is getting a recording for them. As I write this.

The son says he sees something with "white wings" comming out of the closet.

Any idea of what is going on?

Help.

I am Protestant, but at some point I began to question the ideas of Evangelicalism, especially the notion of daily Bible reading and devotional. I certainly think it is a good thing to do, but I also recognize that it has only been within the last 200 years, and especially in western countries, that it has been possible for each and every Christian to own a copy of the Bible. Not until the 16th century were Bibles published to any extent. All before that were hand written and belonged to monasteries. This means that most all Christians in history did not read a Bible as their primary method of personal spiritual growth. What do you think? Is the Evangelical focus on personal Bible reading overstated or misplaced? Thanks.
