would you think that if god really wanted everyone to believe in one religion that he would come down right now so every person would believe? it really would not make any sense for him to have ONE story 2000 years ago that sounds impossible within itself and sit back and expect every person to believe it.

All religions are man made because man experienced the infinite (something she could not understand, and described it to the best of his ability; and other experiencers said yeah that happened to me, and so on, and over the last 35,000+ years different religions were invented.

As best that I can tell, religion is entirely man made, based upon stories handed down though time from generation to generation. This is not only true of todays religions. The gods of ancient civilizations were based on concepts different maybe from those of today but in the same line of thinking. Control and management of the masses is probably the most important factor of any organized religions. All set standards that the followers must meet in order for them to advance to the next level therefore demanding their adherance to the guildlines set forth by that particular religion. All are manipulative and demanding, possibly excepting Chritianity which just sends the disbelievers to an eternal damnation thus disreguarding these people completely.

Yes it is. But your statement is a little wrong:

"he would come down right now so every person would believe?" Should be, "he would come down right now so every person would KNOW?"

But getting back to your topic, it seems to me that the organization part of religion is the least important aspect of believing in God.

It's pretty reasonable to assume that all the religions of the world are man made concepts, but it's not a fair deduction to say that there's no god. Spirituality v. religion or something like that.

Organize religion is a man made concept and is false. But God does come to every person who truly seeks him.

Yes, but, there's usually some truth to most stories that stay around so long. And I do think there are many ways to practice a belief.
If God came down now and told us what to believe, how would faith fit in ?

Give a person two choices, do not give him any clue to which is the right choice, condemn him to rot forever for not choosing the right one. This is religion.
I don’t think god would want us to be religious because he gave us logic and if you look at the world logically you turn away from religion. Why give someone eyes and tell them not to see?
Religion is flawed and therefore manmade nuff said.

Religion is a man made concept. Thank God he has nothing to do with it.

Of course. So?

Religion is suppose to be a way to transform the mind. It could only be 'man-made' just like science, philosophy, art, etc are 'man-made'.

People who criticize religion because it is 'man-made' are missing the point.

The first sign a species is becoming sentient is when they have evolved to the point where they can abstract enough to invent a god. The first time a species achieves sentient maturity is when they get rid of their gods.
