How would we know its really him? i mean if he says he's the son of god people will beat the living poo out of him.... maybe he already returned and people didnt believe it was him.

some people make it sound like you will know just by looking at him.... what if he doesnt look like he does in your pictures. what if the sound of his voice is way WAY different than you thought... you cant know its Jesus just by looking at him. He would look like an Everyday Person

We would know because it will be 7 years after the rapture, which hasnt happened yet.
7 years after it, when you see the heavens open and about 2 billion souls riding white horses to earth led by a man with a 2 edged sword.....THATS HIM

Jesus' people will know Him. He is our Shepherd, and we will know His voice when He returns. In fact no one will mistake Him, though to some His appearance will cause terror instead of rejoicing. He won't appear as an ordinary man next time.

Jesus seemed to think His second coming would be pretty spectacular. It would shine like lightning, according to Him, from the east even to the west. Every eye will see Him, He says. He'll come out of the sky. He'll be surrounded by angels and by risen saints.
I think we'll notice........
