It certainly appears that way. After all, to be atheist must mean we're all amoral criminals. It leads us to the logical conclusion...

That's silly. Do you think that all Atheists are on a "commandment breaking spree" just because they don't believe in God? For those who follow the commandments, many of us just believe that it's a good way to live. A true Christian doesn't run around being terrified of being sent to Hell, because we know that we will be allowed into Heaven if we just ask for forgiveness. Some of us are guided by our own sense of decency, and societal expectations as well.

If God did not exist I would still live my life the same. There is much peace and contentment. I love people, I do not harbor ill will toward another. I love to give, I love my family and try to help anyone that I can... In this world of murder, abuse, stealing, cheating, telling lies that hurt people, etc. I think I'll stay with my Christian lifestyle. In compairing these two lifestyles, which would you choose?

I am a christian and I do what I want to do. The only thing is, the things I want to do have changed since Jesus came into my heart. I dont want to kill, steal, hurt anyone, take anyones husband. Its all because I am now in Christ and born again of His Spirit. I am a new person from the inside out. I am allowed to break all the commandments, God knows, now I dont want to.

Any Christian who has read their Bible knows that it tells us to obey the laws of the land. I do believe, however, that you will never be able to prove to us Christians that God doesn't exist. And, I suspect, that our atheist friends will not be running down the streets proclaiming that God is real anytime soon. Christians are not mindless robots who throw their brains out when they take a Bible in hand (well MOST of us don't). We recognize God as the supreme authority in our lives. Since you will NEVER be able to prove to us that He doesn't exist, the question seems to wind up in the "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" category. I competely respect your right to not believe in God. Please respect my choice TO BELIEVE.

Religion was created to keep man in order. without religion there is no order to them. they grew up believing, in fear mostly, that if they broke these commandments that they, their souls in the afterlife, would go to a horrible place, such as hell.

there has been many many religions come and go. i believe christianity will dissipate in a few years just like mythology and people will be saying, "how could those idiots believe in Christianity or Allah?? Where was this proof?"

another point is that all religions have stories. does that mean they all exist. answer that question.

ADDITIONAL: plus if they tried to do that the fbi wud shoot a glock 9 bullet in their butts

Forunately it is impossible to prove God doesn't exist. To do so would require absolute knowledge of the world which, go figure, only God will ever have.

God in-forces his commandments through our consciousness. People with weak consciousness are apart from God and can easily commit crimes.
