Yes it is mentioned but it doesn't mean real sister. It is meant "the like".
"[19:28] O sister of Haroun (Aaron)! your father was not a bad man, nor, was your mother an unchaste woman."
Explanation of the verse:
Many Christian scholars have failed to understand the term "O sister of Harun", although, according to the Bible, Maryam and Zakariyya's wife were related to each other, and Zakariyya's wife was a descendant of the house of Harun. Generally any female belonging to a family is described as a sister or daughter of the head of the family. The Quran and the Bible assert that Maryam and Zakariyya's wife were the descendants of Harun, the brother of Musa, a prophet of God, and through him belonged to the tribe of Levi, noted for virtue and piety, and not to the house of Dawud. In order to remove the discrepancies between the two genealogies, given in Matthew and Luke, the Christian Church wrongly tries to establish that one refers to Maryam and the other refers to Joseph, the alleged husband of Maryam, which is entirely based upon conjecture and is against the clear wordings of the Quran and the Bible.
Good question, I appreciate.

The Qur’an mentions in Surah Maryam, Chapter 19 verses 27-28 "At length she brought the (babe) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). They said: ‘O Mary! Truly an amazing thing hast thou brought! O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!’" [Al-Qur’an 19:27-28] Christian missionaries say that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) did not know the difference between Mary the mother of Jesus (pbuh) and Miriam the sister of Aaron (pbuh). The time span between both was more than a thousand years. In the Arabic construction of the sentence, sister is also considered as a descendant. Thus, when the people said to Mary, Ukhta Haroon i.e. ‘sister of Aaron’ it actually means descendant of Aaron (pbuh). 2. SON ALSO MEANS DESCENDANT It is mentioned in the Gospel of Mathew, Chapter 1 verse 1 "Jesus Christ, the son of David,....". [Mathew 1:1] Gospel of Luke Chapter 3, verse 23 "And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, ....." [Luke 3:23] DID JESUS (PBUH) HAVE TWO FATHERS? What do you call a person who has two fathers? The explanation of the phrase that Jesus (pbuh) was the son of David (pbuh), is that Jesus (pbuh) was a descendant of David (pbuh). ‘Son’, here means a descendant. u r also a part of mother fuking critian missionary

No, what is written in the Bible will answer these questions for you. The koran came approximately 600 years after the writings of the Bible. Mohammed came from a family of story tellers. They were not highly regarded in those days. His family that is. He used the existing writings and changed them. There is a warning in Revelation as to what happens to people who do this. Allah is not the God of the Bible. It is the interpretation of Mohammed. He was also possibly afflicted by a demonic force, thus explains the fits he was witnessed as having.

good question, cris. you must have been reading this following verse : al qur'an surah maryam (mary) 19 : ayat 28 :
"o sister of aaron! thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!" (28)
يا اخت هارون ما كان ابوك امرا سوء وما كانت امك بغيا ﴿28
tafsir:
يا اخت هارون (yaa ukhta haaruun(a)) "o sister of aaron" means that mary/ maryam was raised as rabbi/ priest. most priests of that time were descendents of aaron / harun (pbuh), therefore they were called 'brothers aaron'.
since virgin mary (mother of jesus pbuh) was a female priest, she was called 'sister of aaron'.
peace, cris.
add: plz calm down, Poki Poki. ^_^
his is a good question, indeed.

no that's not true!!
Maryam/mary is the daughter of Imran and the mother of Jesus. she was way after Moses.
there's only ONE Maryam in the Quran--- the mother of Jesus Christ.
