double hockey sticks.
Like that parable of dividing the sheep from the goats and putting the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Did all these people then (represented by goats), commit the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? How did they do it? By not helping their fellow man? How is this blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? (I've always understood that goats are the analogy used when describing a stubborn attitude)

There is only the saved or the unsaved in this world! The saved are counted as sheep whilst the unsaved are those who refused to believe on Jesus as their savior and set about to establish their own righteousness which is not acceptable to the Lord. Romans Ch.3 V22 explains how one obtains the standard of righteousness which is acceptable to the Lord. As an item of interest, the circumstances under which the unpardonable sin can be committed do not exist in this day and age any more. The only sin which will send one to hell is the sin of unbelief. I hope this helps.

Yes. I think you answered it. Goats are analogy for describing a stubborn attitude.

And a sheep is meek and obedient, he surrenders all to the shepherd, following him in whatever he wants them to do.

So, according to the Bible, it would be the sheep that God would want for his kingdom in this world and his future kingdom.

What happened in each situation, I do not know specifically. But without that willing spirit there would be no trust in the Lord, and so, no faith at all, from a Biblical prospective.

And that would lead the believer into going his own way, instead of God's way, once again, from a biblical prospective.

The goats are stubborn and refuse to obey God--some refuse to even acknowledge him--They are done away with--NO PUNISHMENT because punishment is to teach you something and at that point, there is no teaching left. They will have had their chance and blown it. They will die the second death (the Lake of Fire) and be gone forever. The sheep follow Jesus and find life.

They are not blasphemers of holy spirit although there might be some included in this group. They just don't know and don't care to know and choose to do their own thing.

Why is it that you think the people on the left commited blasphemy? Isn't it because they just didn't accept Christ and have tehir name in the book of life?
