I'm sure you would agree that the teaching of the Trinity is one of the main beliefs of Christianity. Can you prove it to me? I can disprove it with one scripture. At John 14:28 Jesus said: "I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." The Trinity is all about the three heads being equal, but Jesus just said that his Father was greater than he. Now, here's the tricky part. I want you all to try your very hardest to prove to me that the Trinity is an accurate teaching by using the Holy Scriptures. Think you can do it? I'll try my best to respond to all your answers. Please don't post entire articles in here. I want your thoughts not someone else's. No bashing either...if you bash, you'll be reported. 1) will i go to hell for liking my kinda music eg. my chemical romance, slipknot etc...
2)will these bands go to hell
3)can you call yourself a christian if you haven't been christened or baptised becasue your parents won't let you because they don't believe in god even if you do
4)if you are a christian what's your faveourite bible verse and why?

my bro is filing for divorce from his wife of 6yrs.He is leaving her for an old gf from college.We just found out(from his wife)he also cheated on her(wife) with a coworker a few yrs ago.We(his family) always knew she wore the pants in the family and could be very nasty to him at times but cheat on her 2x?I asked him if he was so unhappy why did he not leave her sooner and he said he made a commitment to god and her to make it work.We are a very religious family and look down on divorce but isn't cheating worce?He also has a 1yr old child with her that is his world and wanted his son to have a perfect family life so he tryed to make it work for his sons sake.i do know hes very upset over this and is in therapy for it he said he feels like he has failed his son.My question is do you men by this?Can a man be so in love with his child and values to do whats right that he stays in a relalationship that makes him want to commit suicide and make him have to cheat multible times on his wife

Can good or evil really exist without the existance of God?
If so, who would define them?

PLEASE REMEMBER........IN THIS QUESTION GOD IS GENERIC

God can be defined as any form of supreme being or set of supreme characters that influence thought through imagination and belief.

Has there ever been a society that developed these concepts without the influence of religion in some shape form or fashion? Please, note them.

My basic question is wouldn't good or evil always be based upon what a person or group of people believe, and therefore always be a religious set of values? Isn't that the definition of religion, the system of belief behind the concepts of good and evil, right or wrong?

Why do many Christians throw phrases like this around like its nothing? If they truly believe in hell,then why does this phrase give them pleasure instead of sadness?To me it is a very disturbing concept.

My sister is really scared and frightened. She's only 11 and her name is Haley. I feel terrible for her, poor thing. She's in her room praying and I stand to the door hearing her pray and shes crying and saying God please come visit me, im scared im going to burn in eternal pain i really want to see you for real please i want to be with my family and im scared that science really is true and wah wah and shes just begging cointinuosly for him to help her.
