The only personal prayers I say are ''Thank you'' many times a day, for all the small, and big, things given to me. I do not believe in prayers that ask for sometime-particularly for myself.

The ONLY prayer you can raise up to God and be assured of an immediate answer is "thank you". He'll answer "you're welcome." Anything else, you must wait on His timing. If you cannot do this, then you're gonna be disappointed. When you're life and desires do not line up with God's, then find out where you're wrong. Read the bible and ask God for wisdom to discern good from bad and better from good.

As far as knowing it's His answer and not from your own thought, or from Satan, make sure any answer you get does not contradict His will - you gotta learn to love the bible, or you'll be fooled alot.
