If you had proof you would provide it. I call BS. There is no record of early Christian songs. Only art and writings up through the 4th century.
This is the first Christian hymn known to exist.

People have made lots of mistakes thru out history. Christian or non-christian. I'm sure many had to ask for forgiveness of their sins as we all do each day. Times have changed and although there are many prejudiced people in this world it is certainly not just the white race. Every race have their share of prejudiced people. Should we forget about a past that we cannot change. Yes we should. We should be focusing more on a future where these things no longer exist.

And your point is what? Some early Americans actually went to Africa and kidnapped people to bring back and become slaves too. That was in the past. I am hoping that most people are more intelligent than this question, and can figure out the difference between now and then!!!!!

What is the problem with Atheism?
Atheism is more than just a problem for faith. It fails to qualify as science. A good science pursues naturalistic explanations of natural phenomena. The tradition of biology begun with Charles Darwin in 1859 and running down to the present time is good science. Darwinism provides the most adequate natural explanations for the evolution of one species out of a previous species. As good science, it avoids saying anything about God’s action in the world. Because science tells us how creatures act with regard to one another, we do not expect science to say anything directly about the creator. For a scientist to conclude that there is no God - which is the conclusion of the atheist - is simply unwarranted by the science. Atheism fails to be scientific, because science deals with the world of creatures, not the realm of the creator.

Paul, in the book of Romans, discusses sin. He shows that everyone, both Jew and Greek, is under sin (Rom. 3:9). He shows that sin is not simply something that is done, but a condition of the heart (Rom. 3:10-12). In Ephesians Paul says that we are "by nature children of wrath" (Eph. 2:3). Yet, "while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly" (Rom. 5:6).
Read the Bible.

I wouldn't be surprised a little bit. Most people in the past were racist and a lot of people still are racist.

"he who asserts must prove" basic rule of debate.... and I seem to have missed your 'proof'... refresh my mem
of course racism is born out of Darwinian and Huxleyian naturalism, Darwins book including the phrase "preservation of favored races" the Irish and Blacks did NOT fare well in his book and sadly he ordered several agorigenes to be captures to be brought back to England to be skinned and taxidermies
Christians would generally say there is one race, the human race, racism is a misnomer. Some would add that the human race comes in only one color, melanin... different shades but one color.
