Sometimes when I look at my children im so thankful the Lord put them in my life I feel as though I do not deserve them,(even though im a wonderful mother!) And if something goes good in my life I can't thank the Lord enough. Are there other people that feel the same as I do? And how do I make myself not feel that way.I talk to the Lord everyday.Sometime I feel as though I could be a little closer to him and thats my fault Im not. No smart *** answers either PLEASE!

The three things for you, not others. If you had a majic genie what are the three things you would wish for.

Why is blind faith the only way to recieve God's blessing? Doesn't blind faith pretty much mean that you accepted what ever people told you? How is that faith in God?
The way I see it, no one really has faith in God. I don't say that to offend though knowing people, I probably did, oh well. People have faith in the nature of God as presented by men. They have faith in the Bible, written by men who can only claim divine inspiration. Even if the books are written by the will of God, the Bible is a creation of men. The church looked through the lists of texts and decided what we would read, and hid the rest. Don't believe me? Try walking into the vaults of the Vatican and make it out alive...
What does blind faith prove above seeing God with our own eyes?
After all, didn't Thomas say he had to put his fingers in Christ's wounds before he'd believe? And didn't Jesus let him. Sure, those who have not seen and yet believe are blessed, but if we want to see, are we damned?

And why?

If aliens arrived and offered us tremendous technology but the price was we had to worship them, we all know we'd tell them to get off our planet. Humans find the act of worship to be demeaning, and for good reason... worshipping implies that you are less valuable than the thing you worship.

So why do you worship god?

My guess is that god would probably prefer you didn't.

Largely for the Christian folks here.

when you answer questions about Paganism. where do you get your information?

have you studied any Pagan religions?

What about our way of life?

or our history?

when someone asks a question about a Spell or Ritual. and you answer ,"there is a spell that does this or that"

how do you know? have you studied Spellcraft?

Most of us (Pagans) are not only free to study other religions but encouraged to do so. and for the most part when we answer a question aobut your belief system it is grounded in your holy text or the history of your church.

can you not do the same for the folks that you would answer for?

all that i ask is that you make an attempt to understand us and where our beliefs come from. and to answer questions about us from within the confines of our belief system. as we try to do for you.

Jesus was tolerant, is it so hard to try to be like Jesus?

I don't mean to offend anyone by asking for believers only, but I need only people who believe in the bible to answer. I have a friend who has lived her life mostly the way she has wanted to live. She claims that it is too late for her. That God has given up on her. She did attend Church some and she does believe in God. What I need is scriptuals from the bible saying that it is not too late for her and that she can still ask God to be forgiven and can recieve that forgiveness.
Does God really give up on you as she claims? Does He at any time turn His back on you?
Can you seek forgiveness and recieve it?
Any answers would be of great help.
THANKS!

Why do so many people on this site feel they MUST ask respondents to 'please be nice' or 'I really don't want to offend anyone, so please don't think I am' ???????????

I think I know the answer to that , it's because so many people attack others and 'falsely report' others . . . . . . But I'd like to know .. . . . . What Do You Think About It ???

Don't you?

When someone says "Bless you" or "Peace be upon you" or "Shalom" I feel like punching them in the face!

Why? Why in this age of science and space exploration are these idiots still babbling on?

Go away already! Die! Do whatever you do! Just stop with the nonsense! You make me sick!

Clearly our species is less than perfect.

If we believe in a perfect god. We know he made a perfectly balanced universe, and (initially) made a perfect creation in humanity. He WANTED man to be perfect. This was his original intention.

So why, if god has the power of perfection at his fingertips, does he tolerate his own creations being so imperfect, especially when he designed to be perfect in the first place? Does he want us to suffer?

Having learned from his mistake, why not wipe the slate clean and start over?

Though personal attacks on my faith are nothing I am not used to, I wanted to take a moment to let all of the "haters" know that I will be more than happy to engage in a spirited debate (based on Biblical references) when messaged PRIVATELY. I am here on this forum to support, love and encourage those of ALL faiths, not to tear anyone's down, or be torn down by someone who will not even accept private messages. I think it's time we tend to our own souls and use our blessings, such as this forum, to lift one another up. Would you agree?

Blessings and Happy Holidays to all!
