I tell you,..God only wants to give you the most blessed life.
But the only way He can do that is through your believing that His son, Jesus Christ died on the cross and was buried and arose the third day. You then need to ask for forgiveness for every sin you've EVER committed---telling God you KNOW you are a sinner. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and change you.
That's ALL it takes. Just the faith that Jesus loves us sooo much and wants to come live in our hearts.
Once you are saved (from the Judgement) you are ALWAYS SAVED.

The early Christians skulked about blending in with ordinary pagans. Instead of being blatant about their faith, they tended to hide it. They did not go around saying "I'm saved!"
In order to become saved, go to the nearest church that you are interested in and sign up for their catechism lessons. Learn about the bible, the seven sacraments, the acts of mercy, how religion came about, the basic beliefs. Make it your foundation and ask questions as you go along, so that you make sure you've understood it fully. When you have passed all the tests, you will be asked to repeat the creed. Then you can accept baptism and the other sacraments.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit may or may not happen along with that. It is the first step in a long and arduous journey. Take along with you a walking stick, and a sturdy pair of shoes, a warm cloak, and pay attention to the path upon which you tread. On occasion, look around you and enjoy the view. When you come to a stream, take a drink.

If you are finding yourself wondering about knowing God in a deeper way then God is the one putting this in your heart. He is prompting you to seek Him. To know the Father means you have to accept Christ His Son first. So, the gospel is this: Jesus made Himself guilty for you so that He could take the judgement just for you. So that you would not have to. Do you know anyone else who would take the blame for your sin and die in your place? That's love! So in your reaching out to Him in open prayer, thank Him for what He did for you, confessing with your mouth that you need Him and beleive He died for you and rose again and that you know without Him you sins can't be forgiven and that you want Him in your heart and life to be your Lord and Savior and that you freely accept His free gift of eternal salvation, YOU WILL BE SAVED. He is looking at your heart when you do this, not an elaborate prayer. Speak as a child would when sincerely asking for forgiveness. He isn't looking to see how smart you sound or how much you know etc....He knows everyone's hearts. Trust Him from that moment on. Salvation is completely secure, you can't lose your salvation, it is permanent. Your sins past, present and future have been forgiven. That means you will continue to sin in some way or another because we all fall short of the Glory of God but we will recognize our sin immediately and repent of it in prayer and judge ourselves in order to correct ourselves. This takes daily practice and discipline. That's all God wants. Then you will mature slowly in spirit and God will start to use you in His Kingdom. Remember God forsaw all of your sin and forgave you for the sin you will commit when you are in your ripe old age so don't forget that you are forgiven. You are no longer guilty and there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. We will never be perfect but we are daily being perfected through His word by studying it, seeking His wisdom in prayer and living by His instruction book, the bible. Getting baptized is optional, but not necessary for slavation. Don't let anyone tell you that you HAVE to be baptized. It's not by works but by faith that we are saved and the baptism happens when you get saved, the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

As humans we are sinners, meaning we are guilty of going against God. We are not able to redeem ourselves because the price would be impossible for us to pay. Instead of letting us all die away, God sent Jesus to the world, a perfect human, to die for us and so He paid the price for us. It is like if you went to court and were completely guilty and about to be sent to prison until suddenly someone comes and takes your sentence for you. That is why we love God so much, because He did this for us, because He loves us and wants us to be with Him. In order to be saved you just have to believe, you have to admit that you are a sinner and that you need Jesus as your savior. Pray for Him to come into your life and cleanse your sins and then you are saved. After that, you are instantly written into the book of life, and are on your way to an eternity in heaven with God:)

The steps to salvation ae in the Bible in Romans 10:9-10. it says,
"...that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED." 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
This is what the Bible says. The key to salvation is the confession of Jesus as your Lord. It is not "accepting Him" as many say that is important but whether He accepts you. Believe the Bible as it speaks here and God will lead you to salvation.

Saved means you have offered your life to God and you have chosen to follow the teachings of Christ. such as "Go and sin no more." But much of the Bible has been misconstrued. Much has been taken out by King Constantine. Get the original bible before King Constantine. The Gospel of the Nazarines by edited by Alan Wauters and Rick Van Wyhe. You will see all of Jesus teachings there in truth.

Yes you do have to believe that Jesus died for your sins and ask him so come into your heart and repent and then and then read the Bible where all the answers are. Read God's Word and you will have an incredibly close relationship with Him.

the first step in being saved is to believe that JESUS christ is the son of the true and living GOD.That he died on a cross for no sins of his own but for our sins and that he rose from the dead and is now at the right hand of GOD the father. Now confess this to him and also your sins.to be saved means that you are now a partaker of GODS kingdom.you are no longer a child of darkness but a child of the light.u are no longer numbered amongst the dead but amongst the living.u would be washed of your sins cleansed of all inquity and may have a chance in life eternal.BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY FOR A MAN TO BE SAVED HE MUST BE BORN AGAIN OF LIVING WATER WHICH IS THROUGH WATER BAPTISM.THE PUTTING AWAY OF THE OLD AND RISING IN THE NEWNESS OF CHRIST.

You ask God to forgive all of your sins and you are very sorry for everything you ever did wrong. Then you ask Jesus to become your personal savior. Jesus paid the price for your sins on the cross 2000 years ago.
