If there is no God, then why does sex feel good? Why not just be very painful? If you say nature, then how would nature know? Who made nature?

If there were no God, then we'd have to assume somehow that the Universe and all its creatures evolved on their own. Pleasurable sex would be one of those 'survival of the fittest' features Darwin's always talking about. If sex is painful, then creatures won't reproduce and will die out. Thus those who are left are those for whom sex is pleasurable, us included. In fact, for people, this heightened pleasure may be even more necessary than for most species, given the need to somehow counterbalance the intense pain of childbirth.
