When someone says "Bless you" or "Peace be upon you" or "Shalom" I feel like punching them in the face!
Why? Why in this age of science and space exploration are these idiots still babbling on?

Religious people are scientists just like you are, they're just more eager to accept answers they find.
Absolute truth does not exist. The facts are limited by our senses and perceptions. The majority agree, and it gets written down in a book. That's knowledge.
We still are pretty clueless to what gravity is, and how the universe was created. Some say the big bang, but what started the big bang? Did it just happen? Sounds very familiar to another theory: let there be light!
Both paths have their roots in the same place. You don't have to agree with another's beliefs, but it is wise to respect them.

You must be an atheist , it is rather rude for the way you are thinking. Atheist don't like restrctions in life but don't you realize that you are not extraordinary as compared to others, you need air and food to survive , you will grow old get sick and die , too.
You might think you are the smartest of all but your knowledge will stay wherever there are.

get over it theres no conflict between science and relgious truth the conflicts arise between science and relgious dogma eliminate the dogma from every religion and they all say the same thing anyway , all so do some reading on the Crowley's orders and research he applied scientific method to many magick techniques and was then able to prove and replicate these techniques , the only thing I find to be stupid are fools so full of their own ego taht they can't even admit that there is something greater then man

Wishing someone peace is not necessarily a religious thing at all. Why can't you just accept that they genuinely want good things for you? It is better to wish someone peace whether you are religious or not, than to wish them to die, as you are doing. If you don't like religious people that bad, then you'd best not hang out around them, because you risk saying something hurtful to them.

"Bless you" does sort of rub me the wrong way but whatever. I do get a little offended because I take it as if they think I NEED some sort of blessing. I take it better in person than over the internet unless it's some sleazy guy on the street that says "God bless you" as some sort of 'compliment' on my butt. That puts me in a rage.

There's no reason to be "nice" to them. However, rather than venting your frustration through hostility, you might choose to question their beliefs. They have often just accepted what has been passed on to them without any critical thinking. Point out the flaws in their logic and the absurdity of their claims, and you will be doing a great deal more to rid the world of mumbo jumbo than you would through violence.

Even though you are right, let go of your anger, anger only hurts you. so let go of the anger and feel sorry for the poor people.
