I never really though about this befor, but when I asked a question about raising a child when you are and Agnostic I got many responses saying that my fiancee and I are unequally yoked. He is Christian, although he hasen't been to church in ages and I don't think it is a top concern of his in his day to day life, and I am an Agnostic who would like to believe, but I just don't feel like there is a God. Believe me I have tried, but I just felt I was faking a belief. Anyway my question is, do you think this will be a problem in our relationship?
Please only answer this question.
Do not preach to me to fing God, I tried and it didn't work you telling me to look is not going to change anything.
Answers from believers and non are welcome, especially if you are in a situation like mine.
Thanks.

A man and woman enter an emergency room, the woman aiding the man who is ill and barely able to walk.

A nurse comes out and helps the sick man into a room, then asks the woman to wait in the waiting room.

The man protests and tearfully asks that she be allowed into the examining room with them. The nurse asks her, "Are you his wife?" The woman replies, "No, but we live together."

The nurse states the hospital policy that only those who are legally next of kin are allowed into examinations.

The man begins to cry, perhaps from pain; he is too weak to protest, but the woman begs to be allowed to come along.

The nurse again states hospital policy that she's not allowed into the examining room, primarily because only next of kin were allowed to help make medical decisions. She could serve no role in those decisions.

WAS THE HOSPITAL'S POLICY ETHICALLY CORRECT?
WHAT RESPONSE WOULD YOUR FAITH SUGGEST TO THIS DILEMMA?

I mean I find most religions seem to be self absorbed and those that follow said religion are often judgemental and do not adhere to the principles that they say they follow. I have a faith and belief in God but also a scientific views of the world and I do not think we know everything. I cannot accept the bible word for word but it is more a guide for life and you take what you need. Is there a religion that will accept these views?

There are only 54 verses that mention hell in the Bible. It is a misrepresentation of God's character to suggest that He will sentence people, even the wicked, to an eternity of burning. No verse suggests that this will happen. There will be punishment but no eternal suffering. It is a false teaching that has done a lot of damage.

I have 2 very sweet, thoughtful neighbors who are twin sisters about 7 years younger than me. They know that I'm Christian & that I have a church, but they would occasionally invite me to go to their Pentecostal church. One day I accepted, on a Wednesday night. I was excited about getting to experience a new church.

But when the pastor began talking, it went downhill. He spoke of unbelievers as 'pigs' and 'dogs'. He spoke of homosexuals, alcoholics, and prostitutes in a very hateful tone of voice while he called them queers, drunks & whores. I was appalled, and quite frankly I felt very disjointed, uncomfortable. There was such a huge chasm between the love the congregation seemed to have, and the hate being preached. I understand people having differing opinions about homosexuality & such, but how necessary is it to be so hateful? How many Pentecostal churches preach like this?

I like my neighbors & visiting other churches, but I can never go back there.

The Star of David wasn't over Bethlehem in December it was actually over Bethlehem in mid March.

1) do you feel Christmas should be moved to March

2) do you think this was placed in December anyway being December 25th was already a holiday the Roman Saturnalia. Not out of spite for the Pagans, but just to keep the holiday after the religious conversion.

If you do, if I may request that you pray for my sister. (Melissa) She hurt her leg just a while ago and we do not know how bad it is. They have taken her to the hospital to get her the proper attention that she needs. If you do believe in the power of prayer, as I do, an answer yes will let me know that you have her in thought and in prayer. Thank you in advance for your kindness.

Bear with me, this is a religious question. A lot of religious people I know have said that it is a sin to date. But then how do you get married?

I am praying to God for a husband. There is one guy that I really like. I know he is attracted to me but we have not dated yet. I have been praying that God will use his miraclous power and move every mountain that is between us.

The bible says "He that findth a wife findth a good thing." Is it wrong for me to pray that he is my mate? Does anybody else also have a testimony to ad to your comment about my question.
