I never really though about this befor, but when I asked a question about raising a child when you are and Agnostic I got many responses saying that my fiancee and I are unequally yoked. He is Christian, although he hasen't been to church in ages and I don't think it is a top concern of his in his day to day life, and I am an Agnostic who would like to believe, but I just don't feel like there is a God. Believe me I have tried, but I just felt I was faking a belief. Anyway my question is, do you think this will be a problem in our relationship?
Please only answer this question.
Do not preach to me to fing God, I tried and it didn't work you telling me to look is not going to change anything.
Answers from believers and non are welcome, especially if you are in a situation like mine.
Thanks.

I'm glad that you are not trying to fake your belief, that's important. At least you are allowing yourself to be open to the idea of God. He'll come to you, I've no worries of that :)

Being unequally yoked is really more of a command for those who are believers putting themselves in with non-believers. To carry the burden of being the only believer in your house is a heavy burden, especially when God wants both the man and the woman to share the load between them.

Don't worry about it, you two are doing fine :)

It's true that the bible is instruction for believers. However, the results of violating the instructions are the same for non believers. (gravity doesn't only exist for scientists)

Being equally yoked in marriage can only occur after both parties have become mature in their belief or unbelief. When you enter into marriage, it is a certainty that both of you will change with time. You need to be assured that the important things are already established to prevent future problems.

As I see it, THE most important major thing is your belief system or religion if you will.
