well, the main focus is on attaining enlightenment. it involves finding the "clear mind" state. the ultimate goal is to attain buddah status and freeing yourself from the cycle of dying and being reborn. karma plays a role, and any action has either positive or negative karma. karma decides what you will come back as and how good of a life you will have. the more good you do the closer to enlightenment you will come. rituals include meditation.

i just read a really good book on buddhism that i would reccommend and it is called "how to practice" by the Dalai Lama. excellent read and very informative.

I came from Budhist country. It is pitiful idols worship. Let us worship the true God who created Heavens and earth.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicidal thoughts.)
