If you do, if I may request that you pray for my sister. (Melissa) She hurt her leg just a while ago and we do not know how bad it is. They have taken her to the hospital to get her the proper attention that she needs. If you do believe in the power of prayer, as I do, an answer yes will let me know that you have her in thought and in prayer. Thank you in advance for your kindness.

Be careful what you ask for. Some of us pray to different Gods and/or Goddesses.
I hope your sister pulls through alright. Good luck.

Dear Lord, please Help Melissas leg. Heal her completely, just touch her leg and take away any pain. Help it to be nothing, or no big deal, with quick recovery if this be your will. Thank you so much,IN Jesus name, Amen

no. there have been double-blind expiriments done that have proven that there is no power of prayer. the group that was not prayed for and the group that was prayed for recovered from their heart surgery in pretty much the same amount of time.
actually, the third group that KNEW that they were being prayed for actually did much worse. almost like performance anxiety or something.
