I don't think so, Sir.
How did you do that, though?

Probably. I'm pretty sure God doesn't want to bargain with a human. God does what God wants to do. What I mean is...if you tell God you'll stop swearing IF he does something you want, that's basically telling Him you WON'T stop swearing if He doesn't do what you want. I don't think He likes the idea of a human trying to call the shots there.

God doesn't make deals. You do it His way because it is the right way to do it.

I would say its risky business, and I would highly discourage it. You are a human, and may not be able to keep your side of the bargian , no matter how you feel right now. Why not ask for wisdom and help instead, God promises this to those that you know. How cool is that! :)

Scriptureman says:
Gen 32:9 And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee:
Gen 32:10 I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast showed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands.
Gen 32:11 Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children.

No. God understands our human foibles. But, whether or not He'll go along with our deal is another thing entirely.
