thanks danv for asking the thoughtful question. I think she is influenced by the setrenity of my husband who is a hindu. howerver, hetells me that he is not aware of conversion

But, to become Hindu, you really don't need to do anything - except believe in Hindu Philosophy and call yourself a Hindu.

There is no central authority or doctine in Hinduism, so there really is nothing he needs to do. He can start practicing whichever Hindu practices he finds meaningful and call himself a Hindu.

first of all, i spirituality is something that we all go through individually, and so you should just acknowledge that he or she converted to Hinduism.
tell me if i'm wrong, but i sounds as though you oppose his or her converting. he/she must have been thinking about this for a time now but did not tell anyone, since religion and spiritually is not something that happens over night.

Research the religion online, or in an encyclopedia. If you're really sure that's what you want to do, then go ahead and start worshipping it. And if anyone tries to talk you out of it-don't listen to them. (Unless it's someone who's opinion really, really matters to you.)
