If you are a liberal and I was a conservative, it would be okay for me to question your beliefs. If you like Raiders and I like the 49ers, it would be okay for me to question your beliefs. If you like cars and I like motorcycles, it would be okay for me to question your belief. So why is there such a double standard when it comes to religion? Why can't I question your god and his existence? Just from major religions there are so many (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Satanism, etc.), so isn't it just expected for me to question your beliefs? Why the double standard?

(and If you have read my questions in the past, you'll know I don't insult your religion. I question the motives behind it, the text, and the supposed entity of god and how it interacts)

Why can we not all agree to disagree and find out about each other's character before we bash a belief system or lack thereof? For example I have watched the answers of many people on this forum and even thought they have a different set if opinions, many of them have great character and seem to be really good people. Do you not agree?

If the Bible says "Judge not, that ye be not judged" (Matthew 7:1), why are all of the supposed Christians on here so quick to judge? I've seen some who are so caught up in religion that they have lost their sense of humor. Have you all not realized that God would want you to enjoy life too? You honestly can't be happy if you drop a judgemental answer to everyone who appears to not be Christian on here or everyone who asks a funny question.

The marriage line in my right hand starts as usual from the posterior side of my hand and after continuing for some distance it branches into a new line(while the original line stops there slightly inclining towards heart line)and the new branch continues and gets inclined towards the heart line and after a little distance it ends in a fork...with one line of the fork moving & cutting the heart line and it still extends some way beyond the heart line (while the other line of the fork just ends after a very little distance being somewhat horizontal)

i actually dont know whether more datas are required or not
but the pattern of the marriage line in my left is nearly same as that of right hand.I m a right hander.

Are you feeling like you are in the middle of no where? Not in the wilderness but at the promised land yet? Do feel a little abandoned by God and can't quite make out what is going on?

I first came across the book in a Trenton,NJ library in 1976. It was a donated book, and fascinating. I've seen it in some book stores too and they never seem to know quite where to put it by catagory.

i am a catholic, but my boyfriend is a protestant. This difference has proved a big problem for us because we intend to marry one day and have children and we both want to be in the same religion, problem is i want him in mine and he wants me in his! i dont know wat to do. What if i do change my religion for him...would i be making a huge mistake? could god ever forgive me? will i go to hell!!!
i honestly feel i'd be going backwards......but i dont want to lose him. He told me he has done many life-changing things just to be with me (like not go to the navy come back to this city instead of studying in another one).......are these reasons enough (i understand he really wanted to do those two, so.. probably it is enough)
although...my change could affect my AFTER life..............................THAT IS WHAT HAS ME SO SCARED..........ans so sad cuz i dont want to lose him!
ps. this question would probably be most understood by a wise catholic person but im takin all opinions :Dthnx

What do you find if anything to like about us Christians? And if you can find nothing you like about us as Christians, do you like any of us as simply human?

Why would god being such a nice guy as he supposedly is put temptation in front of adam and eve? Why test humanity and then get pissed his idea of "free will" backfires? Sounds to me just like god was really bored and needed someone to bully. The whole idea of the garden is as nice as someone putting Jim Beam in front of a recovering alcoholic or telling a 6 year old not to do something.

"Father, I ask You to bless my children, friends, relatives and email buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubt, release a renewed confidence through Your grace, In Jesus' precious name. Amen."

Strange expereince with my 2 year old daughter last night.

Only in bed 15 minutes when started asking for myself or mum - I went in to ask what was wrong and she told me that the shadow was talking to her. I asked what "it" said and was told that the man wants her "to open the gate". Got her out of bed and chilled for a while, put her back in and slept soundly.

Could be put down to a bad dream, but not the first time she has talked about shadows or the man. Any advice on what's going on be greatly appreciated.

on a daily basis, how do you maintain a happy spirit? This goes for Believers and non believers. What is it that gets you through your hardest or darkest times?
