Wow, well you are *supposed* to be forgiving, but I think I would have to kill the person with my bare hands.

As a Christian, you must forgive. There is no offence that is an unforgiveable sin. Jesus said that if someone slapped you on one cheek, turn the other cheek for the offender. My advice is that you should forgive whoever molested your child and also try as much as possible to let such thing never occur again. It is hard but with prays, you will be able to forgive and have no resent against the person.

Religion is for people who need someone beside God to guide them.
I would say that i would kill the person. But circumstances can change our reactions. If i was to come face to face with a man molesting one of my children, i would have to say that Gos alone knows what i will do. I think at some point in time i would forgive the person, not because i am a religious person but because it will take a load of my shoulder. I am not saying that i will allow this person to be near my child again but i will let go and let God deal with it.
I will also take a picture to make sure that the bastard gets his a$$ locked away for good.

Only one act is unforgivable, rejecting Jesus.
I would stop the person from molesting my child and I would most likely be the one put in jail. I would hope that I could find the forgiveness in my heart but that would come later. I am sure I would not be very forgiving at the time.
God is righteous, not men, we can only find righteousness in Jesus, not in ourselves. I hope that this never happens and my children are watched every hour of every day, but it is one of my biggest fears for them.
I as we all do need to be more like Christ and less like me, but even Christ became angry at times but without sin.
God Bless

For me this would be an act that only God could forgive as I know I could not. I would have to kill the person with absolutely no prejudice. Then I would have to ask God to forgive me. However, I could in no way watch any child be moslested and not at least do something to try to stop it and stop the agressor.

I would intervene and stop the perpetrator. Using physical force (if necessary) to detain them until the police arrived. I'm assuming this is someone my family knows. If that is the case, I would advise them to get psychiatric help and would never let them near my child again. I would be more concerned with helping my child through the trauma than with the perps forgiveness, but then I'm an atheist.

No way to forgive!! If I saw that happen to my daughter, I would tell you exactly what I would do, but I think I could get banned from the site...let's say that I would make this person f-ing suffer. To get straight to the point, this guy would only end up with no arms or legs so he could never do it again. No forgiveness, he f*cked with the wrong kid.

I'd call the police.
Forgiveness requires repentance. Repentance means you're not doing it any more. If I walk in and they're doing it, they're not repentant. Therefore, the question regarding forgiveness is not applicable yet.
Once they've recieved the proper medical treatment, if they repent and make some effort to repair the damage they've done, we'll talk about forgiveness.

it is hard to say what i would do, i think that i would beat the daylights out of him, i was molested as a child by my uncle and it is still very hard to deal with. i would call the police, that is if i did not kill him. it is hard to forgive a person like that, but to move on you must forgive.

there is no way that i would forgive someone for hurting my child in any way. I would kill him with my own hands. If that would mean sitting in jail for the rest of my life that would be fine because i would have saved my child.
