Right now, Australia is in the middle of the worst draughts it's had in 1,000 years:

God tells us one of His punishments against a nation that doesn't respect Him is draught. Honestly, I'd be really careful about moving there.
If you do move there, please beware of the Assemblies of God / "Latter Rain" movement.

Australia was established as a religious haven and has always maintained a pious society. They believe that things should be done in moderation and NEVER raise their voices in anger. You would be hard pressed to find any evidence that more than a handful of fist-fights have occurred during Australia's entire history. A lot are, but then there are a lot who aren;t...you shouldn't have a problem about going to church, because it's so much fun amongst the believers! there are a lot of baptist churches...but i don't live in brisbane, but i''m sure there are

I was told by some missionaries that alot of people in Aussie don't believe in GOD. I don't know though because I don't live there.
