The eternal soul (atman) of man is a manifestation or “spark” of Brahman mysteriously trapped in the physical body. Samsara, repeated lives or reincarnations, are required before the soul can be liberated (moksha) from the body. An individual’s present life is deter-mined by the law of karma (actions, words, and thoughts in previous lifetimes). The physical body is ultimately an illusion (maya) with little inherent or permanent worth. Bodies generally are cremated, and the eternal soul goes to an intermediate state of punishment or reward be-fore rebirth in another body. Rebirths are experienced until karma has been removed to allow the soul’s re-absorption into Brahman.
People are created in God’s image (Gen. 12:7). The body’s physical resurrection and eternal worth are emphasized in John 2:18–22 and 1 Corinthians 15. The Bible declares, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many” (Heb. 9:27–28, KJV). Since we die only once, reincarnation cannot be true. Instead of reincarnation, the Bible teaches resurrection (John 5:25). At death, Christians enjoy a state of conscious fellowship with Christ (Matt. 22:32; 2 Cor. 5:8; Phil. 1:23) to await the resurrection and heavenly reward. A person’s eternal destiny is determined by his or her acceptance or rejection of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord (John 3:36; Rom. 10:9–10).

All of our religions are based on spiritual truths, but get distorted over time by
mans wisdom. Reincarnation is a progression forward. Noone has to come back as an
animal or bug, unless they are so weak spiritually as to think they must do so.
This idea is based on the fact our spirits came into this world to experince it, and we
can bond with anything and feel what it's like to be that thing. There is a lot of
SPACE in between the particles that make the atoms that make everything else in our material world.
It's due to these past memories of experiencing things that some believe we come
back as these.

As a human being who was made in the same image of God by the eternal almighty God.
Jesus promised to come again. The bible mentions Jesus also as the lamb of God
Read the verse from the Holy Bible
John 14:3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
1 Peter 1:19
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Revelation 5:8
And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
Revelation 2:16
Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
May God Bless you. In Jesus name. Amen.

Probably a tortoise....
I'm just working on hunches now...
.... Or possibly (in a flash of irony) ... a butcherbird ...
Why a butcherbird?
I just remembered the crown of thorns, and it instantly reminded me of the habit of the butcherbird for impaling its prey on thorns for later consumption....
And it seems entirely likely that someone would reincarnate as an antithesis of their former self.... not least since the personality would have to be recycled as well.

ok, i myself do no longer understand the place you get the entire "coming decrease back as bread" element. Jesus will return while He raptures the church and on the tip of the Tribulation. additionally, Jesus did no longer coach reincarnation. He suggested you could desire to be born returned to be saved. that doesn't recommend dying and then returning as a butterfly or yet another person. It means accepting Christ as your person Lord and Savior and starting to be a sparkling person, figuratively.

Jesus would have broken the cycle. Being so advanced as a soul he had no negative karma and would not have had to be reincarnated. Jesus, by the way, tells us that we must be reborn, but in a spiritual sense, not a carnal sense.

If Jesus was to come back as an animal it would imply that he had failed to progress spiritually, and was therefore destined to come back as a different form of life to learn more simple lessons. As Jesus was spiritually very aware, he is probably free of the constraints of flesh entirely, and never needs to be re-incarnated. Hence, your question is invalid.
