God can touch or heal according to his will, and often does.
We cannot know all things as God does - but he never wills harm to anyone, it is not possible for him because of who he is.
The reason we have awful things, wars, hunger, poverty, mental illness - is because we chose to rebel against God, to sin, and we live in the consequences of sin - in a broken world. Again, the terrible things of this world are not God's desire or will.
He would not create things to harm them - his way is love, forgives, grace, mercy.

Of course he can help people with serious mental health issues. I am not God but I would like to offer that we - as people today - have too many limits on how and why we love someone. Do we love them because they are smart? No. Do we love them because they are independent and do not need us? No. We love them because - like everyone else - there is the spark of the Divine within them. Perhaps people who have these difficulties teach us things we would not learn elsewhere? Perhaps it is a chance for the rest of us to be kind and helpful? Not every opportunity is the same.

God helps people with serious mental health issues by giving scientists the ability to develop drugs to help them with their conditions. Why did he create them? He didn't. They have demons in them.

Yes God can help us. He allowed the scientists to create medications for us and gave people the methodology with which to help us cope with everyday stress. Don't know why we have them but I can honestly say I am glad to be alive despite it and I will persevere God willing and inherit a heavenly body one day free of my infirmities both physical and mental.

What issues? If you werent born with them then man created them, or rather caused them.
Seek out assistance from a psychologist. They help people everyday that has mental issues.
If you want to look at this from a religious point of view: God gave certain people the talent to understand and help people with these problems.

i know that god is the ultimate creator of all, but my beleif is that all the mental disabilities and chemical imbalances we are encountering in our world today are a direct result of our own doing....sin...drugs we have done in the past (which are passed on to our children from our bodies)....the way we are treating our enviroment....the overuse of medications, the way we live our lives...think about it, children are not ready to deal with parents who have addictions such as drugs, alcohol, sex, the internet, etc...we as a race need to grow up, deal with our lives in a better manner and set better examples for the future generations....realize that what we do to our bodies, what we do to our planet, and what we put our children through are a direct connection to how our world and our people will live in the future...and stop blaming god for what we have done to ourselves......
