I don't mean to put down, just want to understand. If the bible says don't drink blood, then why is the symbolic wine drunk and why did christ say to do this? It sounds like cannabalism to me. Again, I am not trying to put down, just know why.

Seems he could pop in for 5 minutes today and correct all the confusion in the world and save millions of lives .
Like tell the terrorists that blowing themselves up is not the way to heaven . That anyone with an empty room is going to hell as long as one homeless person is left on the streets .
God needs to drop in and set the record straight .
Like are wars ok . Was forced conversion of millions of american natives right when so many were killed for not converting .
If he cared for real he would set the record straight .
to much confussion and 20 religions with many different paths to heaven . Which one is right ?

God gives us this promise at Micah 4:4--"But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, And no one shall make them afraid; For the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken."
Does this not give us hope for a better future?

I am not very knowledgeable about religion but am trying to learn by reading both the Bible and the Qu'ran (and the texts of any other religions I can get my hands on with English translations).

However I cannot find copies of an English-translated Torah in my local bookshop, and wonder whether English versions exist? I only ask as a friend told me it is the same book as the Old Testament of the bible (exactly word for word), and, if this is the case, surely I would not need a separate copy of the Torah?

Thanks for your help!

Seems the prayers of people with missing limbs are not answered by God But he cures cancer and heart problems restores sight and hearing but not one has he helped the people who have lost an arm or leg .
Why is it God does not like people missing body parts.

Shouldn't the religion & spiritualy section be a sub catagory of Mythology & Folklore? Because as we all know it holds no more fact than the loch ness monster or Big foot.

Yesterday I posted five questions, "Will you agree with my religious convictions for best answer?" In the details I said I was one of five things:

Born-Again Christian
Satanist
Chaos Mage
Muslim
Atheist

Funny enough, only the atheist version got tagged.

Do any of you think this is just a coincidence?

"And he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."
Terrorism and warfare will be a thing of the past.

Since Muslims believe that Moses was a prophet, I assume his biggest and most important prophesy must be in the Koran, but I can't seem to find the Ten Commandments listed. There are some related things scattered in various verses, but I'm looking for the Ten Commandments in terms of Moses' prophesy and I can't find it. Please help.
